For sale is my Classiv vibe P bass in fiesta red, i only bought this last week as a back up however have since aquired a G&L 2000 and really like it so the classic vibe is now surplus to requiements. .This bass is only a week old, has never been gigged in facct has been played for less than an hour at home. Still has all tags and plasatic covers, the bass is essentially brand new but obviously can not be described as such as i have played it. At work at moment so will post some pics later. bass cost me £279 so am looking for £250 posted and i will throw in a padded gigbag as well. cheers steve

Only recieved this bass yesterday as i needed a back up for my Lakland BG for a run of gigs coming up, however i have now been offered a bass i have been after for some time so i need to turn this round quickly. It is a classic vibe P bass in sonic blue and is around 12 months old, i have posted a link to the original thread for until i get chance to put up some pics myself. Hope Liam doesn't mind me using the link to his thread as i haven't even had time to play this bass but i think everything is covered in that. As stated there are a couple of small dings to the bass which are highlighted in the original thread however other than that the abss is in excellent condition with a nice low action. Looking for £180 including postage for a quick sale. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...4&hl=bassix cheers steve

Am thinking abouit having my Lakland BG refinished it is currently black with a maple board but really love the look of the usa white one and fancy a change, Not worried about resale value as this bass is a definite keeper and my main bass. Does anyone have experience or can recommend anyone in this area who does high quality refinishes and if so what sort of timescale would i be looking at ? This is jus an idea at the moment but am looking to get as much info as possible before i make a decision. cheers steve

]Had this for sale recently when it was fitted with a Mity mite P maple neck however a problem developed with the neck and i withdrew it from sale. I have since purchased a squier CV precision neck and had it fitted and professionally set up by Richie Thompson of Tomson Guitars in Wigan. The reason for sale as previously documented is that i just don't get on with jazz basses, i bought the CV after all the good reviews to use as a back up to my BG and thought that by swapping the neck to a P i would be fine and in fairness they are excellent basses but i just prefer P basses so this really needs to go. The bass itself is in excellent condition, however the neck i bought has a fender precision decal on it and where the previous owner has changed the machineheads there are some small holes however these are on the rear of the headstock and could easily be filled i just haven't got the time to do it at the moment. Bass is strung with Lakland JO flats and as i said before has just had a pro set up. This bass has only been gigged once, used at practice twice and for a bit of noodling around at home I am going to have to take a hit on this due to the cost of 2 new necks and set ups but the moral of the story is i should not have sold the original neck in the first place. so am looking for £160 posted, don't have a case however i still have all the original packaging so posting is not an issue. am at work at the moment so will post some pics later. cheers steve
Do you still have the original neck as well? I personally thought that the neck was one of the best bits on the CV Jazz that I had.
No i foolishly sold it thinking i was going to keep the bass, you're right the neck was excellent i just don't get on with jazz profile necks, ah well we live and learn

Feeler really about 4 months ago bought a classic vibe jazz to get over my phobia of jazz basses however didn't really get on with the neck so went to plan 2 which was to replace the neck with a mity mite precision neck with a maple board. The neck was fitted and a full set up done by Richie Thomson of thomson guitars in Wigan and fitted with a new set of Lakland Joe Osborn flats, i bought this bass to use as a back up to my BG but no matter how i try i have come to the conclusion that jazz basses are not for me so am looking to move this on. will also throw in some waterslide fender decals that i got from the states for the headstock but never got round to applying. Bass has been gigged once and rehearsed a couple times. Enough has been said about the quality of these basses for the price. Am prepared to consider trades for P basses and am prepared to put cash into the right deal. for sale price is now £175 posted lincluding a gig bag. I think think is a fair price however if you feel i am off the mark due to the neck change please let me know. sorry about poor quality pics will try and get some better ones over the next day or so. cheers steve

If it's Si ( Geddys nose on here ) who is selling this it's my old cab, i bought it new from shx music, cab was excellent serious cab for that money as they are over £800 new, only sold it as my requirements changed band got new pa and started to di everything so i went for a small compact just for on stage monitoring. can i also say that Si is a top bloke to deal with so you can buy with complete confidence cheers steve

Recently bought a squier classic vibe jazz however as usual struggled with the jazz neck so i have just bought a precision neck to replace the original so this is now surplus to requirements. Only 3 weeks old never gigged just 1 rehearsal and a bit of home use, not sure what a good price would be for one of these, thinking maybe £60 shipped however if am off the mark happy to be guided by anyone here. Will get pics up asap am at work at the moment. cheers steve

Wonder if anyone here can help, we have had a request for this song for a wedding, but we are having no luck getting the music for it, tried all the usual places but can't find it anywhere wondered if any of the good people here may have either the sheet music or even chords for it would be very grateful as it would save us a bit of time. Oh and if anyone has a bass score or tab that would be even better ha cheers steve
