7. Thanks for you post, I was under the impression that these were discontinued now. Strange, anyhow I'll consider and pm you. Thanks.
8. This happened to me. Got a needle file with a straight edge and filed a groove in the remainder of the screw head. Used a flat screw driver to get it moving and raise up a bit. then pushing the pickup down (if it's spung?), used thin long-nosed pliers to turn the screw until it was free. Ordered replacement screws off Thee'Bay (P90 pickups screws I searched for) and for £1.99 replaced all 4 to match.
9. Thanks for the complementary post Dave. They are very underrated imho. Cheers.
10. Weighed in 8-9lbs on my flattering scales! ;-)
11. Cheers, it is! Allegedly 10.3lbs / 4.7kgs but, I'll get the scales out and let you know.
12. Something has grabbed my attention and to fund it I've decided to let go of my Overwater (by Tanglewood) Contemporary Jazz 4. Was asking £320 for her but, found a bit of string rash on the neck pickup so dropped price to £300 as a reflection. It's the Trans-blue version and all round, a really great bass. The tones are very versatile and has some real grunt if you need it. I'm not using it for live work anymore and the last time it was used, was for an overdriven bassline on an album track. Sounded pretty awesome. It comes in a Ritter gig bag and Schaller straplock pegs. I can swap these for normal strap buttons if needed. Ideally I'd prefer collection or arrange a delivery. Something can be sorted. Courier would have to be arranged by buyer. Hit me up if you want any more info. As this is hopefully funding a new acquisition, I'm not interested in trades - unless it's a Spector NS-2B! Thanks for looking.
