grunge666 Posted July 17, 2015 Share Posted July 17, 2015 (edited) Something has grabbed my attention and to fund it I've decided to let go of my Overwater (by Tanglewood) Contemporary Jazz 4. Was asking £320 for her but, found a bit of string rash on the neck pickup so [b]dropped price to £300 [/b]as a reflection. It's the Trans-blue version and all round, a really great bass. The tones are very versatile and has some real grunt if you need it. I'm not using it for live work anymore and the last time it was used, was for an overdriven bassline on an album track. Sounded pretty awesome. It comes in a Ritter gig bag and Schaller straplock pegs. I can swap these for normal strap buttons if needed. Ideally I'd prefer collection or arrange a delivery. Something can be sorted. Courier would have to be arranged by buyer. Hit me up if you want any more info. As this is hopefully funding a new acquisition, I'm not interested in trades - unless it's a Spector NS-2B! Thanks for looking. dmccombe7 Posted August 3, 2015 Share Posted August 3, 2015 I have one of these altho its an original by Overwater before they teamed up with Tanglewood and they are absolutely fantastic basses for the money. It always reminds me of a Stingray type sound with EQ at mid point but can do so many tones. Playability is simply brilliant and always well finished.
