5.
In fact, just re-reading the thread, I'd be interested in the D & G.
Well Rabbie would like the E & A and has suggested an £80 / £50 split how does that sound?
6. Just back from gig will look at p.m.'s
7. I would if someone wants the D & G
8. Thanks for the re-listing Clarky Shame I didn't get the chance to try them, they are a bargain!
9. I got these strings in November from Clarky only to find out they are too short for the bass I had them in mind for (due to long scale and long afterlength) I haven't fitted them, only taken out of packet to measure so they're in the same condition as when Clarky sent them. So they're back up for grabs at £130 posted.
10. Here's the old thread Get a Bassmax or Underwood, or buy a travel bass like a Kolstein or Eminence A Gage Realist or APTflex would be an easier fit to any bass rather than differing wing slots, however they may not sound great on some instruments. Good luck
11. My first paid gig was £5 for the band (trio) £1 - 10 shillings (£1.50) each 10 shillings to drummers dad for petrol (50p) My £1 - 10 shillings went to another bass player for hiring his Vox T60 bass amp It was all worth it I ended up with 3 Wals, all from gig money
12. Nice
13.
MB1. "It cums white?" ...Might be an idea to stop polishing it ?
Any chance of a few cum shots?
14. Price, pictures and location might help
15. Thanks Clarky, will check with Mark when I get a minute
16. I do a fair amount of changing between upright & bass guitar and wondered if anyone had experience of this head for acoustic upright / eub?
17. Can be to do with the angle over the bridge also
18. I think the cab is a 408, not 308 correct me if I'm wrong I was wrong once, I thought I'd made a mistake
19. Just received some strings from Clarky More than generous again!
20.
It has two pads, so one on each side. They both fit quite tightly, but i'll have a play around to see if i can make them any tighter.
Be careful! If it's the wing slot / paddle type you can damage them by being over tight. If its the BP100 type that uses metal clips it could benefit from being tighter.
21. Which pick-up have you got? You could try a pre-amp like the Fishman Plat Pro 8" or 10" speakers are better for upright
22. Just received a very nice Ibanez Artcore bass from Michael. He described it as if it had just come out of the shop. Well it's better than that, looks like it's never been in a shop! Great guy, good communication, well packed and super fast delivery. Thanks again and all the best Keith
