Hey folks, thinking of putting a Schaller 3d bridge on my Jazz, where I currently have a standard bridge with the 5 screws. Is this an easy enough task for a luthier worth his salt?

Thought I should add, the body won't need stripping a finish. It would just be an alder body fresh from the shop.

I'm throwing around ideas and may take on a new project soon. I would fancy a nitro finish, just a standard colour, black probably. Not wanting to do this myself i.e. reranch, and I want a pro job doing. What are my options in the UK? I've read SIMS do it, but saw on here I was getting up to £300. Anyone?

I'm looking for a flight case for my 135 and castle cases do one for the bassman 100. I measured the 135 and the case and the case seems a really tight fit. Is that how they're supposed to be? Help me spend money folks!

Hmmnn, the ones I posted up the top are 400. Still 'fairly' cheap for what could be a cool bass. Here I go, convincing myself again

Thought I'd chime in as my Fender Bassman 135's valves get a blue glow when I take it off standby. Not sure what kind of valves are in it, as long as it rocks hard, I don't mind.

I used to do the Kim Deal head roll, with the fag hanging out my mouth. Not any more though, thank you smoking ban
