1. The orange website says it has 2 4ohm outputs on the back, I would presume you could run the 40hm cab from one output and then daisychain (Amp->8ohmcab1->8ohmcab2) the 8ohm cabs from the other. It will be loud.

It looks like my Yamaha BB424's dad! Lovely!
3. These punch WELL above their weight - and that's not to say they're heavy either! Also worth mentioning that the horn is really very musical. 2 of these would be one of my dream rigs.
4. What shape are the Tuners truckstop? If they're the triangular ones (on the backplate) I'll have them?
5. If you want some soundclips of the twin valve please let me know man, It's not a traditional EQ but it sure sounds like one
6.
That`s right..but maybe you should take a bicycle Even then you will not regret the trip
I have a Yamaha BB424 I might be interested in trading, I even did a little review of it here if it's of any interest - http://youtu.be/xRVYmPxebgk
7.
Forum rules demands a price....... Which is.................???????
I believe its for trade
8. I've always fancied one of these! Unfortunately I'd want to try it first and thats one hell of a train ride away!
9. This is a great Idea man. I know its in it's early stages at the moment but once the layout is a little more user friendly you could have a really sweet thing there!
10. If you can find a Trace Elliot Twin valve they come with my whole hearted recommendation. They dont trade hands for a lot of money at the moment
11.
Well I do have 4 basses and soon to be 5 Mind you Mrs C won't let me sell the Bacchus as she likes the colour ( , she insists on calling it "minty)
Tell her I'll look after it? That way your not getting rid of it, but with the incoming one you'd have to buy a new stand! I hear they're costing anything up to £5k these days. Be cost effective Clarky!
12. I just asked how you where getting on with this in the other thread, I'm guessing it wasnt your bag afterall then! I can vouch for this amp, by far one of the best I've ever owned and I can vouch for Owen being great to deal with!
13. Howa you getting on with the Tecamp Owen?
14.
Partly laziness. Partly as I just acquired wesfinn's awesome Herbie Flowers-inspired '59-alike Jazz (below) and I am not sure I will be keeping my Bacchus
Oh please don't sell the Bacchus Clarky! Ever since I sold my Woodline turbo 5 about 3 years ago I've told myself I'd get another one day. Funnily enough it had a J retro in it! You'll regret it!
15. Looks lovely that! Maybe a white perloid PG just to finish it off?
16.
As someone who works in a shop that's a Fender dealer, I can reiterate that Fender have made every dealer keep to a certain price. It was great for people wanting to buy Fenders, but not for dealers like us, who were having to try and match silly prices. They might do an in-store deal, but if they advertise online at a different price they face getting their dealership removed.
I dont know about you Pete but we really dont make much on the Fenders we do sell so even an instore deal is pushing it. Go second hand.
17. Its all about Elixirs for me. More expensive but most strings last me two weeks, These guys generally last closer to two years!
18. The Markbass CMD210 combo is a winner, by all account. As mentioned it has a great depth of sound which really make it sound bigger than your usual 2x10. Another one to consider is the Tecamp puma 2x10/2x12 if you can find one second hand. I recently shifted mine for financial reasons but if I could have it back I absoloutely would. It had a wonderful midrange driver which meant there was a fantastic even tone to every note, high or low!
19. I'm not gonna delete this. Just so you all look like fools
20.
This dude says "come on tough guy...if u hard enough".
CHEAT! He's concealing a weapon!
21. Meet Norman. He might not look like much but look into his eyes, Look deep into his eyes. There is a madman just waiting for the opportune moment. When that moment arrives, BAM.
22.
I need to get the cab back and see what condition its in. Its fully working and never been pushed hard but i dont want to price it too high as the carpet covering is a bit tatty (although not ripped IIR). I guess £300 will be a ball park figure but let me check it over first, it might be a bit less. These cabs are very loud, i had a Epifani UL212 that sounded great on its own but was nowhere near as loud and punchy as this cab. It does have a mid bump, and a certain tone that you cant really EQ out, but if you like this tone then its really all you need for a small one cab rig IME.
My old Schroeder is a cab that I really miss! I don't think you can do better for the money they go for these days
23.
Outdoor bass porn and it's only May!
It's refreshing isnt it! That bass looks lovely man, I think I know what you mean about expensive basses being wasted on you! I'm thinking im much the same!
