1. http://hpbimg.someinfos.de/diy/allgemein/_schematics/amp-schem/trace-elliot-MK-V.pdf The foot switch socket is in parallel with the front panel switches sw1 and sw2.
2. The switches are momentary, they just make a contact to negative to switch that part of the circuit. The foot switch has a wire from the pre shape switching circuit, a wire from the graphic switching circuit and a negative wire.
3.
Which module do you think they are using? One of the ICEPower ones in the link.
The chap on the Peavey stand at LBGS told me that Peavey/Trace had developed their own power amp unit.
4.
My advice is give it to me, just because I'm nice like that First port of call would probably be replace the output jack and work backwards if you're getting absolutely nothing
The output jack also switches on the pickups and preamp, so is definately the best place to start. Maplin used to do a relatively cheap stereo jack socket.
5. Yes, I had the same message, as have others I have spoken to.
6. I wasn't going to go this year, I've been the last 3, but I was given tickets for both days for Chrimbo, so I guess I'll be there.
7. Have you tried emailing Eminence or perhaps one of their dealers, possibly Blue Aran.
8. D'Addario EXL230 55-110
9. Is it the Moog circuit schematic you want? http://www.flyguitars.com/gibson/bass/RDartist_techinfo.php
10. You need to connect the hot output from the vol, middle contact/yellow wire, to the tip contact of the output jack, I would think it is the white wire but recommend you check this with a multi meter. The black wire needs to be connected to the body of the output jack, one of the two black wires, I would guess wire number 4 but again check with a multi meter.
11. Looks like its being sorted now, but I remembered the ball ends are colour coded, the E is plain brass if I remember correctly.
12. I use 55-110, it should be obvious which is the E, perhaps you have the wrong string in the new pack. As Bluejay suggested, measure the string thickness, if it's incorrect contact the seller or D'addario UK.
13. A couple of $$ Corvettes went for below £250 on eBay within the last 6 months, both well gigged though. There is this at the moment. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/152315414418?_trksid=p2060353.m1431.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
14. Not the cab you mention, but, I'm sure I read somewhere that Tony Levin used a 1x21 Trace cab with Peter Gabriel, although I could have imagined it :-/
15. PM sent type bump
16. I recently contacted Clive about a schematic for an amp, but unfortunately he threw away most of his drawings when he moved abroad. I but a couple of links in the repair section for amp drawings.

18. I have active EMGs in both of my Warwicks too, and they are very quiet. Keep an eye on the adverts, I got the PJX set for £45. I fitted D'Addario strings, the tension is lower then on my own basses at standard tuning, but I tune the E to D or C# so I don't find it a problem.
19. I bought a Mikro bass for my daughter and also found it noisy.I tried copper foil tape to shield the cavities, which wasn't totally successful. I picked up an EMG PJX set from Basschat as a replacement, these are standard PJ size so I guess most pickups would fit. The pickups were a little tight in the cavities but went in without any mods. The original pots were quite small and one of them was fitted close to the side of the cavity, so small bodied pots will probably be needed. There are some modified Mikro basses on Talkbass, probably worth a look
20. I believe Lodestone is part of Ashdown, might be worth an email to them.
21.
As a self confessed rocker - Why have I only just discovered Iron Maiden / Steve Harris??. Found a Transcription book in a charity shop, having great fun playing through the early songs.....
Just think of all those "Wasted Years "
22. Having checked the serial number on the Warwick web site, this bass was produced on 26/10/2005
23. Found this http://basschat.co.uk/topic/187312-warwick-neck-thickness/
24.
No problems, thanks for the reply. I tried a 2nd hand $$4 recently and found the neck incredibly chunky, but surprisingly easy and manageable to play. I take it this is the same? Is it true that the neck dimensions changed on the $$ basses at one point?
The Warwick neck dimensions changed in 2009
