  1. How many people do we need to get the price down to £7.50?
  2. I've been moaning at L6 on the FB group for ages about the update process. Now that you have 2.50 (or beyond) it is a lot easier as the new HX Edit software is far better. Still needs a 1 button Back Up and Update option though.
  3. My Nordstrand order is on the way. The new J blade jazz pickups. The "Clean and Clear" version. One will be installed in the bridge position of my EBMM P-Ray 5 (It's a ray5 but with an Aguilar P pickup in it. Passive). I'm going to make it a PJ set up. But I don't know whether to put the J in the 60s or 70s position. I'm a big fan of Duff's AFD tone but I also like a bit of Geddy. I can't decide! I realise most PJ basses are 60s position for the J, and I like them a lot, but I'm still wondering about going for the other option. No I won't play jazz on it so I don't need the super nasal bridge pickup sound (I have a Marleaux for that), but I like some rasp to my drive tones as well. Any ideas how to make the choice? It will be staying passive and I'm going to use Stack knobs so each pickup has a vol and tone.
  4. Got the emai - they are now on the way from the USA. Can't wait! Now I need to find some stack knob pots and decide whether to put the bridge J in 60s or 70s position.
  5. I had a Hyperbass for a few years. I forget the tuning but I did a passable version of Monkey Businesses Man, and Adhan by the time I sold it. was great fun.
  6. I’m in love!
  7. Amazon didn't hit profit for about a decade. But they have just about everything people need. And it was clearly something that could work given time to build the service. I'll use the free spotify sometimes, but I'm not paying for such a limited service.
  8. I bought Pete's EBS Fuzzmo. Good all the way, and a very nice pedal to boot. Thank you.
  9. Small error I think - there is no way that Nut Width is only 40mm. Lovely bass though.
  10. Barefaced Four10 and the Darkglass M900 job done.
  11. Boss solved the boot issue decades ago.
  12. The sounds are the same. Only you can decide if the extra connections are worth it. But you do get a much larger discount on Native with the Full Fat compared to the LT.
  13. YOu'll need this
  14. http://upvir.al/44027/backbeat?ref_id=hR11606669 It's like a pleasure board... but for your back. I know what I think...
  15. ThorpyFX Fallout Cloud It's a modern muff with an Active EQ in it. Handles active basses brilliantly.
  16. Ooo! Why didn’t I think of that! Its more the rhythmic patterns than the notes I’m worried about. That boy Harris is a slippery one!
  17. Anyone? Some of the tab sites have it, but they seem to be be between annoyingly bad or shite. standard notation is fine. Ta.
  18. Or you could use some D'Addario 6 string sets, but use the lightest 4 strings 32, 45,65,80 That would be very light. I couldn't cope with that"!
  19. La Bella Low Tension Flats are lovely.
  20. Line 6 are doing a discount for software products INCLUDING Helix Native. 30% off Native / Pod Farm / Model packs on the older kit etc. BEST BIT - If you already have a Helix and are eligible for the Owners Discount on Native - then the 30% discount is going to stack on top of it. So if you've got a full fat Helix and you could buy Native for $99, then you'll get another 30% off. If you've got the LT and get the LT discount then 30% off that as well. Bit late for me as I've had the Helix and Native for a while, but for any hardware users who haven't bought Native, now is the time. The Site is having a few tech difficulties but is being sorted right now. Offer is open for about a week I think.
  21. I've had a regular EMG P bass pickup and it was pretty good, I've had the QPs as well.. but my favourite is the Aguilar 60s model. Seems fuller and more balanced than the others. The EMG had more highs, and the QP had more bass and less mids - but did sound a bit muddy to me, and took it too far away from sounding like a precision.
  22. No doubt. I'm just pointing out that there were plenty of other options. Quite useful if a UK stockist doesn't have stock or carry a particular line. And the last 3 things I bought from Bestbassgear sailed through without getting pinged.
  23. Not to mention that if the OP ordered from Bestbassgear instead they do FREE international shipping for orders over $100
  24. It’s amazing. I like love them.
