I agree with Burns Bass, if the seller has handed it over to the courier as intended then it’s not really his concern, it would be unfair for him to lose the cab and the money, but completely understand it’s the same for you. It’s what postage insurance is for, it’s not nice paying £20 to fully insure something but it’s there for moments like this. What is it that you want the seller to do?

I find myself rooting for Letts to fail in this particular instance as it makes for good drama and an excellent read on here, I feel like we all know the outcome we’re just here to see how bad it gets. However I’ll again express my sympathies with your plight as it’s just every bassists worst nightmare surely!!

They will with ease! They’re brilliant little things! Tip for application, they’re on a sheet like stamps, get one off, peel the top layer of paper off and leave the backing on, then put the glu dot on the bass and then peel the back off like double sided tape, my first instinct was to peel the glu dot off the sheet and that just resulted in me messing a load up with my big man hands! Much easier to do it the way mentioned above! 👆

The normal ones will be absolutely fine in your case! Easier to remove too!

Oh and I think the bass looks absolutely fantastic! Such a nice story and now you’ve made it completely yours!

Try bostik glu dots, they stick really really well and come off without ruining what’s underneath! I’ve got loads if you want me to send you some!
-
Beat me to it! It’s just so unnecessarily large.

I love “Between the buried and me” Dans band, this bass is based on his old high school Spector bass which he did most of his learning on and which he worried he’d break on the road!

You know exactly what this is! That's why you're here! Been on my pedal board for a while, but I can't remember the last time it was used, which is a shame for such a great piece of kit. £110 to your door, no original box, but will be well packaged in a suitable replacement. Great condition, no velcro, fully working. Thanks,

87 basses!? Do you have them all on your property? i.e 1 single place or all over? not planning on robbing you… just trying to imagine what that must look like! You got them in cases and then in racks?

Last night we headlined the Off The Rails event in Leamington Spa. We only got an hour to play, considering we usually play for 3 it felt like it was over before it began, but really awesome night. New things learned though, playing in arches with lots of walls and chambers and...well arches meant the sound went everywhere, P Bass sounded incredible as usual.

He’ll not be keen on me mentioning it but I recently got a 6 string Ken Smith that I flipped for +£2,000 more than what I paid. Previously I’ve had most luck flipping Warwick’s, mainly… an ‘88 Stage 2 bought for £700 sold for £1500, and Streamer number 126 bought for £800 sold for almost £2000, and finally a rare as ‘92 5 string Stage 2, paid about £1k sold for £2k… don’t think I’ve made a loss, but probably have selective memories there…!

They are seriously cool things! Enjoy it! Would love to see a pic of them both when you get it!

My band play a lot of paid gigs, our vocalist looks after all invoicing and it’s her bank account that gets the cash from the venue and we insist it’s always digital, never cash, we need to trace it all easily for the taxman and her account is a sole place to count it all up, our drummer is in accounts so looks after most of that, but our vocalist is very good at transferring it out to the band as soon as she gets it, and as a band we’re very good at paying our share of costs on time. I’m lucky that I’m in a band with a reliable and trust worthy group.

My Funk, Soul, & Motown covers band played our first wedding reception last night at The Saxon Mill in Warwick. We all played well, Bride and Groom very happy, lots of singing, dancing, applause etc, we got a further gig from it so on that front the gig was fantastic and we were paid an hour after getting home. However... It was the first time I'd mustered the courage to head out with my Ken Smith, It's a bass I like to have in the home to practice more complicated stuff on, but I fancied playing it at this nice venue and at a wedding, however during sound check I just couldn't hear myself, we could feel the bass but It was impossible to hear the notes in the mix, thinking it could just be the fact the ceilings where low, I was tucked in a corner and the room had a carpet floor I switched out to my trusty Squier P (The wife) and soundchecked with that, and... there it was, louder, clearer, present and cutting right through the mix. So I was obviously very put out by that, I want to play the Smith, but it obviously needs a different band / setup to work well. Bum! Next gig this friday at our usual haunt in Leamington Spa where the Squier will do the hard work again.

They've spent a lot of money on sponsorships recently as every man and his dog on YouTube has one to sell you. Funniest thing was, even though Ian Martin Allison is an endorser of the Helix lineup he couldn’t understand the pedal that can only play one FX at a time… you know like a normal pedal does… I do see the benefit of not lugging all my back line around and everything being in one little box, but to my ears they don’t sound good enough to replace my gear just yet, especially not at those prices.
