1. Its not actually MY Tele Its just some random picture I,ve half inched from t,interweb to show what the case looks like TBH i,d love an old 1950,s blonde tele, maybe if I sold a liver!.....(Can you survive with out a liver??)
2. Hi All, I bought this from Old Horse Murphy around xmas, it was the supplied case in which he bought his reissue Jazz Bass, but sold it to me. I have never taken it out the house since, and it has been untouched since then. It is still mint condition and I,m looking for £90. i,m trying to find the original thread for it!! its brown with the orange lining and Fender by the handle its not that heavy although I havent weighed it. I got it for my 77 p bass which I sold recently, but a ray is a slightly smaller fit in the G&G so I,ll put it up for sale/trade. Or will trade for good quality MM Stingray case. I cant post it, so collection from West London only. I have no piccys of it, but it this is the case (although without the telecaster)
3. Rattus Norvegicus (what I believe is your username) is full of minor scales and pentatonics Sometimes - A minor Princess Of The Streets - G minor DIT Sewer - D minor Old JJ used to be a classical guitar virtuoso, and you can hear it in his basslines on this album

5. I,m surprised this is still here! Especially at that price! I wonder if the cross threading of the nut on the truss-rod is putting people off?
6. quote.." In case you receive 2 basses please let us know and we will arrange for 1 to be returned... quote I trust you will right?
7.
This has become a bit of a EBMM myth im affraid, Someone was after a replacement tuner after buying a Ray in our FS section with an incorrect longer style tuner (Who was it are you reading this? ) this nonesense came up again, I posted a reply much like this, They emailed strings and things and fitted the correct one within a week
It was me actually! Anyone know where I can get the lead to connect the ipod to this? It's just a regular headphone socket at either end.
10.
i want you by the beatles
I love the way Macca deliberately overshoots some of the arpeggios on that! BTW if you listen carefully at about 4:28 when John screams "YEAH!!" you can hear some one shout at him to keep it down!
11. One of the first basslines I learned to play was "Papas got a brand new pigbag" I seem to remember it was similar to "Precious" by the Jam! Those were the days!!

14. I have now located a box so it can be posted to your door for the sum of twenty quid
15. If you restring with heavy gauge flats, then you probably will need to re-adjust your neck (well, the guitars) as the heavier tension and pull, will maybe result in the truss rod needing a tweak.
16.
Ah yes, the old James Taylor vs James Taylor issue! We do sometimes notice people leaving after a few numbers and think - wrong James Taylor! Apparently after one gig some came up to James (the one I play for), said how much they loved the gig and his music, and then pulled out a copy of Sweet Baby James for him to sign. The cover is basically a huge picture of the other James Taylor! A
Blimey! There's another one? I wasnt aware there was two of em!
17. I just caught the end of a JT concert this afternoon on BBC4, I actually recorded the classic albums show the other night featuring Tom Petty and caught the tail end of JT. IIRC it was Leyland Sklar on bass.
18.
Pricey - but anywhere with New Kings Road rent and rates to pay isnt going to be offering any bargains.
I believe they're still trying to flog Greg Lakes 1959 Precision for the price of a new hospital wing
