1. Been running through the bass part for this song for tonights rehearsal, and noticed a discrepency in the repeat of the first verse after the organ solo where the bassist seems to miss the G where the singer goes "Yea darling gonna make it happen!" is it just me?
2. I always get Stuart at Peter Cooks in Hanwell to look after all my guitars. Nice friendly, honest chap.

4.
My favorite JJ moment was finding Rattus Norvegicus in the summer of '77. I was 12 years old, and it was the first album that spoke to me. He set the course for me wanting to play bass, taking it from the background and into a virtuoso instrument. Not just the music, but also the cover.. He was all I wanted to look like too
The bass guitar intro to Princess of the streets got me into the bass. And Peaches, Oh sh*t! there goes the charabanc! classic
5. I almost failed to turn up for rehearsal many years ago. I dislocated my kneecap while at work and was transported to hospital in an ambulance. I completely forgot about that evenings rehearsal and neglected to inform the band till I got a call from the singer who on hearing off my accident, promply dispatched the drummer in his car to come and collect me. That was a fun ride to the studio with my plastered leg sticking out of the passenger window of his Opal Manta!
6. I was reading a book on The Beatles recording their first album at Abbey Road studios. They played live in the studio which was in fact their live set, complete with fully worked out endings. Nearly all the songs were faded out for record release, apart from I saw here standing there and twist and shout which had full endings.

12.
yes, almost posted that one. Beautiful heart-wrenching lines.
Agreed, and a great song too! You can almost forgive him for Hotel California!!
13. Great to see the late Nicky Hopkins on keys. For those who dont know, he played on most Stones records, and The Beatles Revolution and John Lennons Imagine album too!
14.
Would you sell this for money?
Be careful, I was looking to trade my Stingray for a Precision and someone offered me money for it. I was told off by the forum police!
15. In A New York Minuite by Don Henley, some great fretless playing by Pino, apparently! That surprised me, I never knew it was him!
16. Fairynuff! dropped D it is then!!
17. Has anyone played this song? Our new lead singer wants to do it, but I believe John Deacon drops the E string down to D. I was wondering if anyone else does this. Does it really matter?
18. Red House bores me shitless! followed closely behind with Gimme Shelter.
19. I wish I could keep it up like that!! - Fingerstyle I mean
20. Is that the new penthouse studio? Well, opened in the 80,s anyway
21. Is there a bar in there??
22. I have bought several excellent condition basses off ebay and they all have needed a bit of work doing to them. I always take 'Excellent Condtion' with a pinch of salt.
23. Yes I did cut the treble, but it did seem to reduce the presence of the bass a bit.
24. We had a new singer come to rehearsal tonight, and we ran through our set list for him. He wanted to have a go at All Right Now by Free. I had my MM Stingray and was playing with a pick all evening. When we got to he bass solo part, what a racket! Oh well, you live and learn!
