1. ye id definatly not add the humbucker to your actual stingray, but i dont think by the sounds of things ud benefit much from swapping the humbucker with your sub, so you could tryyyyy adding it as a second H to the sub, but will the cost for this to be installed be greater than the value it would add to the bass?? i think so, i wouldnt bother tbh.
2. square eggs are very rare question is, does it sound any good?? looks wise, im not sold
3. check out the GK microbass range too

5. ooo its that colour again
6. its threads like these that make me never even want to consider paying the cash for a US jazz/precision bass, although my squier jazz i used to own wasnt all that, but it only had a factory setup...
7. i hope it wasnt less than £420, but i guess its up to jake
8. i have two extra 5 plug daisy chains knockin about too if anyone needs them, no idea how much for like
9. oo very interesting, in that case you can give a direct comparison between the deep impact and the korg??
10. second hand bass market is just on its arse thats all, even rare/ltd edition stingrays on here and ebay aint selling for much more than £700, which again is just a joke, i know i wont be lettin mine go for less than £800, not that id be sellin my ray anytime soon, certainly not in the summer when the sun is on it makin it sparkle away
11. its a shame, having sold my muff and my jacques filter i easily have the money for this, but iv told myself im done with effects now, gay
12. ye i have to say these two particular brands of bass in current market are not the best ones to put on a no reserve auction on ebay, i cant speak for the warwick but any stingray that sells for less than £600 is just criminal imo
13. im sure ud get used to it, but i find the second humbucker gets in the way of my slap technique, so personally for me id always go for a single H just replace your sub's imo, although i think the sub pickup is quite decent anyways??
14.
I was eyin that up through the window, I've got a spare p neck and pickups laying about, might see if I can score it for £20, be worth that.
ye its only a plywood body like but its quite nicely mojo'd

24.
hi the price is based on a number of reasons. yes, they are quite rare and when one comes up for sale thats the price they tend to go for(usually in inferior condition) i,ve had loads of octave pedals and this one IMO is by far the best both in sound and in its ability to track.i,ve A/B,d it against a recent OC-2 and it just blows it away, especially in a live situation, thats always the acid test.but ,as always its my opinion, some people might think differently cheers Terry
how does it manage that?? the circuitry is pretty much identical iirc, certainly identical to the made in japan oc-2's, only the name is different
