1. P.s. what on earth do all those controls do? It's like the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon.
2.
Some more Photos, and info. Cheers These were Made in 38 Chemin de Moulis Toulouse France in the early 1990's They made 4's 5's and 6's headed and headless, They later dropped the piezo and featured a Warwick style separate tail piece. I bought this one from the Gallery in London. Lag stopped making guitars and basses in France, and then they popped up again a few years ago with just imported Guitars, no basses. The Piezo Bridge can be adjusted by 4 pots inside a volume for each string. Also the head takes ball end or non ball end, so you can use your favourite string and clamp with allen key and cut off excess.
Mon dieu, that's a beast of a bass. Any part exchanges considered for it or are you looking for sale only?

8. Just corrected the price to £325 collected, or £350 delivered
9. For quick sale is my MusicMan SUB in dark blue. Great bass, great tone, in great condition (bar some wearing on the top of the headstock, some tarnishing on the tuners and some rub on the metallic scratchplate from thumb placement). Here's the skinny: 2 band active EQ Solid poplar body Painted maple neck Rosewood fretboard 34" scale Blue paintwork with a metallic scratchplate All in all a fantastic bass which, after GAS'ing for a MusicMan since I started playing, I've found something I like the tone of even better (Warwick Corvette $$), so it's time to sell this on in an effort to raise some funds for a 5 string. Asking for just £325 o.n.o collected (from Wetherby or Leeds), or can arrange to deliver for an additional £25 (I'll include a decent gig bag for posting). Any questions please feel free to give me a shout, I'll endeavour to get back to you ASAP. Cheers! Pics:
10. Damn straight, that is one hell of a bass. I want it. Damn shame I'm a penniless scrote. Best of luck with the sale!
11. If only this was a 5'er, I'd snap it up in a moment!
12. BUMP for pricedrop
13. Looks like the bass sold on eBay. Glad that you got your Xmas readies, although sad to not be the new owner.
14. Hey dude, the Spector looks nice, but not exactly what I'm looking for. Would prefer to trade up (with cash adjustment if necessary).
15. What scale length is this beast?
16.
it's 35", i don't have any actual pictures at the moment but i can get some if you are interested
Well, a 35"er would definitely be more my thing. What sort of condition is the Spector in? I think I'd prefer to trade up for a Spector (like an LX or something) rather than for one of their lower range instruments, but I'd be interested in seeing some pics if you can get any?
17. I take it you're not still interested in trades? now have a Yamaha RBX5A2 available for trade too.
18. BUMP for pics added.
19.
would you take an ibanez btb 405 or a spector performer 5?
Hey dude, Not too keen on the btb 405, but could be tempted by the Spector....what scale length is it?
20. Pics coming soon type BUMP
21. Hi all, Up for grabs is my virtually mint condition Yamaha RBX 5A2. It's a great modern style 5 string jazz bass with a great tone from the ceramic custom single coil jazz pickups. Although the bass takes a 9v battery, the bass is passive; the 9v battery powers the blue (bridge) and green (neck) volume control lights which vary in brightness according to how high the contols are turned up; these lights go really well with the overall style of the bass, which I would describe (tongue in cheek) as pimp. Nice maple neck with rosewood fretboard which has 24 medium frets. The bass features Yamaha's A.I.R body, which (apparently) is a soft core body with resonant tone woods layered on top and bottom, all of which are connected by tubes which connect the unique bridge to the whole body; combined with the string through body bridge design allows for a remarkably full tone for a bass that weighs in at just 3.2kg! Specs are: Colour - White & Aircraft Grey Weight - 3.2kg Scale - 34" (863.6 mm) Body Type - Alternative Internal Resonance contoured body Pick Up System - Ceramic Bar Single x 2 Neck - Maple (Bolt on) Finger Board - Rosewood Radius - 10 5/8" (250mm) Bridge - Alternative Internal Resonance Mounting System Bridge (Die Cast) Controls - Front Volume (with LED), Rear Volume (with LED), Master Tone The reason for sale is that I need to raise funds for another purchase. The only wear to speak of is just a small chip in the top of the headstock (at the back from getting a bit over zealous on stage and hitting a speaker stack) and some very light scuffs on the back of the bass (no buckle rash). Asking for [s]£250[/s] £220 delivered to your door. I'll include a gig bag for posting. Any questions, feel free to ask. Item is based in Leeds and collection in person is possible for £200 cash.
