1. Bump before the evil Bay.
 2.
A fellow bass-player met TM Stevens recently and asked him to play the bassline of this song and he couldn't nail it anymore..
Seriously? That actually makes me feel a bit better about not being able to play it
 3.
I really like this version! Wish I could play something like this with such a 'fluid' feel but I think it's never gonna happen
Never say never Molan!! I bet you'd nail it if you tried.
 4.
this is a simpler version http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GZcX3vkrlA...feature=related
Yeah, this is the guy I've been trying to learn it from. His playing is sublime. He's got so much groove and plays it impeccably, but I've watched it a hundred times and still can't figure out what he's actually playing. It's just those 16th notes on the G and octave that I can't get the timing for. As soon as he comes to the G part, he seems to play all 16th notes with lots of ghost notes but I can't for the life of me get it right It's driving me nuts!
 5. After months of trying, I just can't seem to get the bassline for this down. The part I'm stuck on is the main riff where it goes to the G and plays a few ghost notes. No matter how many times i listen to it, I just cant work out the timing/groove for it. Any suggestions?
 6. Monday = bump day. Super tasty, full of mmmmwwaahh fretless at a very nice price, anyone?
 7. Oh my! That is a truly gorgeous Warwick! Sadly way above my price range, assuming I actually had some spare cash anyway. Best of luck with the sale!

 9. Gutted you've had to resort to sticking this on evilBay, Clover make some absolutely beautiful instruments and it would be good to see it staying within the BC community. I'd love to get my hands on this beauty...sadly I'm broke ass too
 10.
Warwick's deserve so much more love than they are getting.
+1
 11. Absolutely gorgeous bass. Killer tone out of these. 'Wish I had the cash' bump! Good luck with the sale.
 12.
Everytime you bump this I have to look again...! Don't suppose you fancy an EUB and have another similar priced bass to chuck in as well!? ... Thought not
Worth a shot eh? I like the sound of an EUB but sadly, I need the cash.
 13.
Amazing bass for the money… and I can vouch for Delano SoapBars… I have them installed on my RIM Marseer and I love the dark growl they give! Wish I had a suitable trade dude. Someone needs to buy this now!
Hey man, thanks for the kind words! I'm a big fan of Delano pups, but I'd only ever played with their MM, J and P pups before I got this bass, but the soapbar tone is awesome! So beefy, bassy and growly
 14.
Ahhh, this bass is LOVELY! I sold it to James a couple of years ago. I had the extra Delano Soapbar put in and the electronics made more versatile, Martin Petersen (he makes Sei Bass) at the Bass Gallery did that, he said it was a really nice bass with a great growlly tone. That's a big compliment coming from Martin. It's lovely to play but I like Jazz width necks and this is a bit wider, so I sold it and got a Warwick. The Delanos are remarkable pickups, the harmonic detail is something else and perfect for a fretless bass. If you want a fretless with tons of character, this is for you. And as Chuck says, it has a lovely tonal palette. Chuck, be patient, it's a bass that has a particular market, it will sell eventually, and by god £600 is a f****** give away! Best of luck mate!
Hey dude, thanks for the extra info and kudos for the bass. It sure is a real beauty and I'd rather not be trying to sell it, especially so cheap!; I figure It's not what it cost me, but what it would cost to replace, and for a bass this nice I'd be paying a small fortune. But desperate times call for desperate measures. You're right though, I think this bass is an acquired taste but the tone is just sublime!
 15. Ok, so I was clearly mental! Don't know what I was thinking. This bass has been withdrawn
 16.
That is a stunning bass right there! The reverse headstock is really classy I reckon. If I had the dough, you'd be baking bread mate1 Truckstop
+1 Does anyone need a kidney? I've got one going spare, only £1,850 - Bargain!
 17. Nice!! It was about time someone grabbed it
 18.
Man, all i can say is give it some time! Also try using the B string as your thumb rest whilst you get used to the neck.
I did get some great advice yesterday from fellow BC'er krispn who gave me a new perspective with which to approach the 5-string. After several hours persevering with it last night jamming through some well known tunes, I have to admit I was starting to get the hang of it - still nowhere near 'fluid', but a vast improvement. I've got several practices this weekend, so this may well get withdrawn by Monday
