1. Now sold.
2. I'd probably shoot for 5/4 and use chromatic passing notes on beats 4 and 5 - 10 beats is a long time to stay with one chord, so why not add a dominant in occasionally to imply a bit more movement? (e.g. slip in an F#7 under the Bm7b5(b2))Also, should your 'b2' of those chords not be a 'b9's? Also secondary dominants are your friend - imply a D7 before the G7, and B7 before the Em7(b9) etc... to create even more movement. Hope this helps.
3. As new, instructions included. Behringer's Sansamp clone sounds identical to the BDDI fron Tech 21, will work as a didtortion pedal or DI box (or both simultaneously) for recording/live work.
4. Coolio.
5. I think with weddings/functions you're better off carving out a slice of cake. ALWAYS go for the cake. Seriously though, it sounds like you've got the drive to do whatever you want, and I wish you every success in doing so.
6. There may be a fuse on the board that's blown - have you tried that? I know that some amps have internal 'quick blow' devices - they can be replaced for about 50p each.
7. Withdrawn.
8.
Which interview did you read?
I read (in at least two FZ Biographies) that Scott was responsible for Zappa canceling dates on his last tour and not gigging again. Could be fanbois with axes to grind though.
9. Yup. I did the bridge on mine and it worked a treat. Baby steps though.
10. Yowsa - that's a beauty!
11. That's appalling. Makes MDP stuff look positively appealing.
12. You might be able to get away with 'safe uninstall' before reinstalling PT. If that doesn't work then you'll need to do a 'full uninstall' before reinstalling. Also check the latest drivers for your hardware, I seem to remember that there have been some updates recently. here's the link: http://avid.force.co...wnload/en379411
13. What a crock.
14. I've bought from both HotRox and Watford Valves, and never had a bad experience with either. There's no such thing as a '2 minute phone call' to Watford if you're discussing Ampeg kit though - and that's not a bad thing either!
15. I'm in ramsbottom and this sounds like just my sort of thing. PM'ed
16. My bass goes into a DHA VT1EQ set up to run as a preamp (ECC82 instead of 83) - from there I send a clean signal to the desk and send my bass through the FX. If they want to they can mic up my cab or take another DI from the amp. Really quite a flexible little setup.
17. Tom bought a pedal from me this week. Quick payment and a really pleasant chap to do business with. Happy bunny.

discreet

Just traded my DI box for Discreet's Behringer BDI21 and everything went very smoothly*. Great communication throughout and a lovely bit of kit. *No lubricants needed for a simple trade.
19. As promised - my updated board. It's undergone a massive shuffle recently. I rack mounted my chorus and trem pedals (both home made) to free up some space on the board and it's worked a treat. The board looks like this: and the 'Box of Mod' looks like this - still a work in progress, but it's all wired up and functioning for the weekend. Signal path is: Bass, DHA VT1 EQ, 'Mini' Q-tron, Russian Muff, BDI 21, OC-50 Octave, BSY600, then to the amp with the chorus and trem in the FX loop. Which is nice...
20. 3TS always looks classy with a rosewood board.
21. Looks like a really neat job there, but then if [sfx] can't make a pedal look (and sound) classy then there's little hope for the rest of us!
22.
I felt compelled to make a pedal board that would match my new amp
Lovely!
23.
Nothing whatsoever. Go in clean and eq on amp. Just some new zingy DR strings and whack up the gain on the amp.
Hmm, there may be something in what you say...
24. I'd like to play every day, but with two little 'uns and all the rest of it I find that I've got very little time to properly play - exercises, stretching my abilities and technique. I used to do loads of playing, whether I was gigging or not, but just for the minute I've got other priorities.
