    Firewire or USB?

    Using USB for 'demo' stuff - single input Alesis interface and Firewire for multitrack stuff (MOTU 828). I'm running a late 2011 MacBook pro, so still got onboard FW, might as well use it.

    Mine’s done an install on my Mac, but it doesn’t appear as a stand-alone app or plugin. The SSD5 IM works, but not the drum app itself, is it a 64 bit app?

    Obituary, Anthrax, Lamb of god and Slayer at the Manchester Arena. Anthrax were (as always) on top form and tight as! Lamb of god were brilliant at performing, but not all that entertaining. Slayer were all SSSLLLLLLAAAAAYYYYYEEEERRRRR!!!!! and stuff. Awesome.

    This is the all tube preamp; 4 x 12AX7s and a 12AU7 for the drive circuit. The only analogue tone shaping part is the switchable graphic EQ.

    Sold on the ‘bay PRICE DROP £65 A change of bands means a change of gear: jazz bass body with Duncan Designed pups from a Squier VM Jazz, BBOT bridge, V, V, T pots and a bell plate and a tort-esque scratch plate. Neck pocket is a standard fender size and I’m not certain what wood it’s made from, but it’s not ply. It’s ok for metal, and the weight is 3.1kg It’s been gigged, and has a couple of scars in the paintwork on the lower side, i.e. it’s been authentically reliced. PRICE DROP £65 Sold on the ‘bay

    Really versatile flanger in original box and barely used. Bought it to experiment with, and it turns out I’m more into phasers than flangers, which is no-one’s fault, not even the Romans. £20 of your earth pounds. SOLD

    Dave Hall VT2. I’m using this on my ‘rock’ board. Think Iron Maiden / Judas Priest with a bit more of an Anthrax edge.
