This is the limited edition Moog Sirin essentially a Moog Minitaur with a bigger range so that you can use it for bass or lead sounds. It’s got that classic Moog sound and is really easy to use with 128 user presets and a free software editor so you can get really in depth with tweaking new sounds. It comes boxed with PSU and manual. It’s as new - bought on a whim to be honest and as it does exactly the same as my other Moog it’s surplus to requirements. I can post in the UK at buyers cost. Sorry no trades.

I’ve reverted back to a small Markbass combo and an extension cab for bigger gigs so these two items are up for grabs. Both amp and cab are in excellent condition. The head comes in a Markbass gigbag and the speaker cab in a Roqsolid cover. Italian made Little Mark III 500 watt amp. It’s in very good condition with minor cosmetic scuffs to the paintwork where it was once rack mounted. It works perfectly and has had a service from official Markbass centre Real Electronics. The cab is an Italian made 8 ohm New York 151 400 watts. Functions perfectly. Some minor bobbling to the carpet covering but overall excellent condition. A very powerful and portable Markbass rig. Sorry no trades as I have my eye on something else. I’d prefer pickup in person. Thanks for looking!

Your car boot find looks like a Vox Clubman or a Burns sonic.

I must defend Carlsbro amps: I had a Cobra 90 that I gigged for 5 years before I bought my first Trace Elliot. Okay it couldn’t compete with the Trace in terms of punch and tone but it never let me down. I also still regularly use a Carlsbro Hornet keyboard combo that I’ve owned since 1989 again ultra reliable and still gigged, even the reverb works! I can’t comment on what they produce now however.

Dr Bass 1260 cab 12” woofer, 6” mid and adjustable tweeter for sale. Great US custom made cab runs at 8ohms and puts out around 300 watts. It’s compact and relatively light at 19kgs. Eminence drivers the midrange is a brand new replacement. In answer to a couple of questions the drivers are - The main woofer is an Eminence Gamma 12 and the mid is a 6.5 Eminence LA6 CBMR. There’s a tweeter and some kind of crossover, with two speakon sockets and an attenuater for the tweeter. These cabs had a lot of fans when they came out however the demand out stripped the supply. Then manufacturing delays and missed orders caused the company problems, however the cabs were universally praised. There is lots of discussion on Talkbass as you can well imagine. It’s a great cab but I need to create space for a vintage stack. I’d prefer pickup but U.K. shipping isn’t out of the question if you are willing to pay for it. It’s in excellent cosmetic condition, very sturdy build quality and really pushes air. Pics aren’t great but they show the condition. No trades.

I have a near mint condition Fender Precision Bass made in Mexico from 2016/17. It’s light at 4kgs with a lovely maple neck and fingerboard. Plays superbly with low action and good balance. Bought as a backup recently but I’m selling as I have the opportunity to buy back an old bass I regretted selling. It comes with a high quality gig bag, inspection tags, Allen keys and Fender strap. I’m okay to post in the U.K. at buyer’s cost. No trades sorry as I need to free up some cash. This is as good as my American Standard, lighter in weight but not in sound.

Well done I would’ve bought it myself if I were nearer to him. You’ll have to put pictures up of your beaten up one.

Agreed I got in touch last time it was listed and had similar discussions. Information was pretty limited he also agreed to courier pickup so I’m not sure about the validity of his reason for relisting.
-
Agreed - I’m not a fan of the trend to disguise crap with more crap.

As Troubadour says looking at Google it appears that it’s a similar story to Dr Bass. Where a product was raved about and then sheer numbers of orders and poor management caused its downfall. The victim of its own success perhaps? https://www.seymourduncan.com/forum/showthread.php?188254-Blackpoole-Relic-Works-is-no-more!

Jon, I was looking up the story about the connection between Ned Callan and Shaftesbury and came across this ridiculously incorrect article again. Spot the mistake! I have seen this before and had pointed out the obvious errors to Rose Morris however it remains..... https://rosemorris.com/blogs/news/14900469-bobby-sands-and-his-nobbly-ned-callan-shaftesbury

Was yours a Shaftesbury version? I think the construction differed on later models. I’ve always wanted one of the Cody basses (or was it a Hombre?) - knobbly Neds - that looked like a piece from a jigsaw. This guy sells a lot of project grade instruments at inflated prices. If you look up a Google search this bass sold on Gumtree for less than £200 a few years ago. It was the same bass as it had the custom scratchplate. I’d risk it for £200 so I may PM him and see if he’s amenable to offers.

It is a nice looking bass but why professionally refinish a black bass - er - black? Not being facetious but was it that badly battered?

I know but it’s a big one! 🤣
