  3. Double dip recession busting bump!
  4. Thanks for the encouragement bubinga5! I keep being asked for trades - I'm not interested in amps or effects sorry. Things I'd consider are a US or MIJ maple fingerboard Precision, Gibson Grabbers, T Bass, or my old Fender Musicmaster Bass (OK its a long shot but.....cream with a dark oblong patch on the front/top left S718899 - I think!!!) NB I'm not after any other Musicmasters just my old one . No other trades thanks!
  5. Yep it is but it ain't shifting, sign of the times I guess
  6. Up - would still consider trade for the right P Bass. This is a great bass in excellent playing and cosmetic condition don't be put off by the price I'm just selling it for what I paid for it when purchased from a member of this forum.

  8. Gone in record Rickenwaffe time!
  9. I will ship within the UK of course but at the buyer's expense, we are talking £30 incl. insurance for parcelforce 24 which still makes this USA Jazz a bargain!
  10. I'm in Lancaster, NW .
  11. Now for sale!
  12. Now for sale £500 collected
  13. Yep in the words of the late Frank Carson It's a cracker!
  14. Yes unless no interesting trades come along.
  15. I bought this lovely Jazz off here last week, its a fantastic bass absolutely superb to play and in excellent condition but I confess I'm more of a Precision man these days. Originally this was for a trade but now its for sale as I have found a nice P bass however I am still interested in a maple neck MIJ or USA. The bass is through body strung a nice light/medium weight with good balance. It's also very red and has a 'parchment' scratchplate, all original and includes strap locks & gigbag. There are a few light marks and dings but nothing nasty or unsightly. Action is super low and the neck is really fast albeit too slim for my tastes. The serial dates it to 2000/2001. It is the pre S1 switching model. This is now for sale for what I paid for it and it really is a bargain at £500 .
  16. Mike to edit it go to your initial post press the 'edit' tab at the bottom of the post then select 'full editor' you can alter the heading from there. Bass plays great restrung and set up. All the best!
  17. By the way great bass and Mike is a real gent to deal with!
  18. Shaftesbury's have quite a chunky neck - slim nut width but fatter than a say an Ibanez.or Aria.
  19. Nice! Never seen a black Shaftesbury could be a CMI or if it has the original TR cover it's either a very rare one or a refinish. Great find that.
  20. Bump
