1. I will ship within the UK of course but at the buyer's expense, we are talking £30 incl. insurance for parcelforce 24 which still makes this USA Jazz a bargain!
2. Yep in the words of the late Frank Carson It's a cracker!
3. Yes unless no interesting trades come along.
4. I bought this lovely Jazz off here last week, its a fantastic bass absolutely superb to play and in excellent condition but I confess I'm more of a Precision man these days. Originally this was for a trade but now its for sale as I have found a nice P bass however I am still interested in a maple neck MIJ or USA. The bass is through body strung a nice light/medium weight with good balance. It's also very red and has a 'parchment' scratchplate, all original and includes strap locks & gigbag. There are a few light marks and dings but nothing nasty or unsightly. Action is super low and the neck is really fast albeit too slim for my tastes. The serial dates it to 2000/2001. It is the pre S1 switching model. This is now for sale for what I paid for it and it really is a bargain at £500 .
5. This post cannot be displayed because it is in a forum which requires at least 1 post to view.
6. Mike to edit it go to your initial post press the 'edit' tab at the bottom of the post then select 'full editor' you can alter the heading from there. Bass plays great restrung and set up. All the best!
7. By the way great bass and Mike is a real gent to deal with!
8. Shaftesbury's have quite a chunky neck - slim nut width but fatter than a say an Ibanez.or Aria.
9. Nice! Never seen a black Shaftesbury could be a CMI or if it has the original TR cover it's either a very rare one or a refinish. Great find that.
10. I got this recently but I need to make room for another project. Its really light and plays OK, the truss rod turns and everything works as it should but it could do with a set up. The truss rod cover is broken and there are a few dings to the body but nothing structural. It balances nicely and could be a great little bass with a bit of work. I replaced two of the machineheads, turned the nut round and put the strap button on the right horn - as it was strung left handed. £70 picked up posted for an extra £20 in the UK. It's Korean made probably 15 years old and is nicely put together.

What's the weight of it please?
12. I'm a real fan of adobe audition - you can get a demo version of it and the earlier version is called Cooledit Pro which I think is available for free as it is no longer supported. Both are great for track editing and as a multitrack and very easy to use.
13.
A bit more - it would be worth seeing a photograph of the rear - this looks like an earlier Ripper, the later version had a tray/retainer inset into the back of the body rather than simple holes for through-body stringing. I favour the earlier version.
Yes my early Grabber has this simple hole arrangement and I think it works better than the later multiple string 'tray' retainer, a view of the back would be good!
14. This is one of my Road Worn Jazz basses, I initially thought the roadworn concept a bit naff but having played them they really are superb instruments, anyway I have my eye on something else so one of my basses has to go and this is it! It's been gigged once but mainly used as a backup for my other Jazz so it is 'mint' - well mint for a Road Worn anyway! It comes with gigbag and original tags and price tag (these retail at a hefty amount of ££££). It's light and well balanced and sounds fantastic.I'm looking for £695 picked up but am willing to post at buyer's cost in the UK. It plays really well and is newly strung with GHS Boomers. I'm not looking for offers or trades I will try and post better pics over the weekend.
15. I got this for a multi-media player and on the move recorder - its not in the league of an ipad but is ok for basic online tasks and running youtube/Basschat etc over wi-fi. It also has a basic recorder built in to get ideas down quickly. Its running the Android 2-2 OS I think. Its boxed with charger and USB lead plus instructions. I'm looking for £70 posted within the UK.
