1. Whereabouts in Lancashire are you I'm always a sucker for an obscure old monosynth?
2. Thanks for the advice I have edited accordingly!
3. Am I just (tales from) topographically disorientated..... why is it so difficult to use the back & forwards buttons to move around topics on the forum and why is the uploader always failing? I find these issues frustrating because sometimes they work OK and then other times the site is really glitchy. Its not always at times of day that could be logically linked to heavy internet traffic. Anybody else experiencing the same? I have found out how to delete old attachments now however!
4. For sale my Peavey Foundation 5 String, maple fingerboard, two passive soapbars made in USA. A very nice 5 string, easy to play with a good Jazz bass type sound. A quality bass but if it had an 'F' on the headstock it would go for three times as much! Unfortunately the Peavey name is not as highly regarded as it should be for their earlier instruments. This bass has had a few dings, the jack socket surround has been replaced with a thin metal one - does the job - by the previous owner and one tuner has been repaired. All works as it should and is a real workhorse. Bought recently off a basschatter via ebay to complete a recording project.Selling because I rarely use a 5er these days. £135 picked up. 5. Hi I have mastered & recorded several CDs for commercial release using Adobe audition which I think is a great DAW and editor, very straightforward and similar in core concept to Audacity although much more sophisticated. I have used this alongside Ableton Live 4 (a very early version) for nearly 10 years with no issues. Audition used to be known as Cool Edit pro in a simpler form and was developed by Syntrllium before being bought out by Adobe who saw it as a way in to the DAW market. You can track down demos of Cool Edit online I believe. No idea of the retail cost now. I tried Audacity when I used a Mac for a while but found it too restrictive. Good luck!
6. I've had a lot of corresponcence with this chap who sent me a photobucket link, he tells me he has no real knowledge about the bass other than what he found on the net and was told when he got it. The pictures show that the neck has Schallers installed and a late 70s serial that checks out. He hasn't had the neck off since he owned it and had no knowledge of pot codes etc. I'm assuming the body is a replacement. I decided not to go for it as I have found another bass I'm interested in that is totally original. It may be worth contacting him if anyone is interested in the bass as he seems genuine enough and is willing to negotiate.

8. Lovely looking cab but I can't see a price and you need to state one to comply with forum rules. By the way is there a back on it and how hefty is it? Cheers

I need to put mine back together and lost the diagram.Damn
Have a look on the Shergold forum there are a few wiring suggestions and diagrams on there you can get to it via - http://www.shergold.co.uk/ cheers!
13. I've had a few of these and they are very good, first decent long scale bass I owned was a Marathon MK1 with an extra Dimarzio Jazz pickup at the bridge, great neck on it. I'm interested in this where are you based?
14. This looks an interesting bass what are the measurements of it? Is the action and intonation ok and how does it sound? I'm interested in a smaller bass as it would suit my recent move to a smaller house! PM me with more details/pics if you have the opportunity. Thanks.
15. Hi there, I'm afraid forum rules state you need to give a price or trade options. All the best with the potential sale its a lovely instrument by the look of things!
16.
No postage or couriers so please don't ask! Most of us don't live in Lancashire.
Sorry didn't mean to be rude but was hoping for someone local (as MB1 would say!)....
17. OK this is the original speaker taken from a GK MB150 combo I purchased and subsequently sold a couple of years ago - this speaker has the usual rubber seal rot associated with these combo's speakers and will need a recone. It did work but rather fartily when taken out and replaced. I bought the amp off Charlie Haden's road manager who told me it was Charlie's own old amp...so a bit of memorabilia too? I need to shift this in precisely 5 days from today otherwise it hits the tip as I'm moving house. Sorry I can't post it as I have no time so if you live in the Lancaster/lakes area PM me and we can arrange you to pick it up. Now Gone!
18. Here's an Alto 12 channel desk I bought whilst my soundcraft desk was being serviced, this is a nice all in one desk with direct outs and subgroups so can be used for recording duties too especially if you have a multiple i/o soundcard. The effects are pretty good and it all works as it should with a few dusty pots, it looks virtually new and has a decent eq and also a graphic. Specs are here http://www.directpro...?directid=53954 I'd rather it picked up but am willing to negotiate sending it in the UK only. Really need to shift this, no trades just cold hard cash/paypal gift. Its a bargain! First £100 before I stick it on fleabay. Cheers
