It's not a scam. Just some inaccuracies and over enthusiastic hyperbole in the description... and a bit not as down to earth as you usually see on here.
Agreed, Grant basses are decent instruments and the Precision is a nice example. They were however budget instruments and without a prestigious name. In reality despite their MIJ lineage they lack the kudos, collectability and therefore percieved 'value' of more recognisable importer's brands such as Greco, Antoria, etc.
 19. It wasn't me out bid last second. I keep waiting for the 'second chance offer' thinking (hoping!) the other bidder may have got carried away and isn't going to go through with the sale....dream on!
 20.
Hi Those bass are delicious ! I own a 1975 2365b jazz bass with Dimarzio DP149 and John East preamp which is amazing The tone is clear and growly . The neck is perfect and fast. You can date your bass here just with the serial number engraved on the neck pocket plate NIce bass !
Hey there thanks for the link, my version is the pre serial number Ibanez which - according to The Ibanez site makes it a 1971 model, very early and yes very nice!
 21. And replied Still here
 22. Yes it is very pretty and it plays as good as it looks! I'm still looking for a maple fretboard MIJ or US Precision bass so possible trades are welcome but only for Fenders.
 23.
Mmm few potential dodgy comments, selling for a friend, I'll check the pots for crackles, the e string sounds like it has lost some life.... Be careful, reminds me of a Jazz I bought of E-bay and when it arrived and had problems it was down to his 'friend'
Thanks for the advice, i have contacted him and he seemed a bit vague about the whole thing but this is the bass I've been looking for for a while so maybe worth a chance.........well i'll see how far the bidding goes!
