Yes it's a beauty - the sunburst is lovely. I took off the scratchplate and there are no extra routs or drilled holes. This is a superb example of why these basses are so sought after.

8. I saw and played this at the Haslingdon guitar fair last weekend it was very nice indeed and he was prepared to sell for less for cash. I bought something else otherwise I would have had this. It had all the paperwork too.
9. Form an orderly queue for this ...ahem....heavy relic..... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251349939051?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Note the shameless name dropping and total musical inaccuracies - Psycho Killer on a Musicmaster....qu'est-ce que c'est? Non! Mustang? Oui!
wow Ash thats gorgeous, you really are the king of the JV's
Thanks! This one is near perfect and I'm still dithering about moving it on. I'm hoping to post a better quality picture when I get my camera organised.

12. It's a cheap Satellite MIJ or MIK bass from the early 80s absolutely nothing to do with Mr Fender and worth about £100
13.
Basschat Marketplace has all the best JVs at the moment! Bump for a beautiful bass!
Agreed there's a bit of a JV sellers club going on this past few weeks!

16. That's a nice early one - the body will be Hayman stock - they have a large rout under the large scratch plate to accommodate the Hayman pickup assembly and double split pickups. The Marathon version had an extra large rectangular scratch plate with a single Shergold pickup.
17. I reckon it's either a Grant or a Status (no not that Status) both importer badged cheapish basses judging by the materials.
18. Here's the Hayman - bought as a project, needs the neck sorting out though as it's bowed and defretted.
19. Well I may have a Hayman 4040 I may be moving on......
