2. Ha ha ha! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/fender-1960-jazz-bass-/121239813509?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item1c3a74bd85
3. Get a Hofner violin, the a Ignition will be within your budget from eBay and they are not bad, you can pickup a contemporary series if you are lucky for £300. I own a German Hofner '62 reissue which I have used a lot recently after injuring my shoulder these are great but a bit expensive. Good luck!
4. This is fantastic, great piece of work, well done!
5. I have one of these and it was incredibly heavy - the heftiest bass I have ever picked up in fact. I very quickly sold it and have since stuck with my featherweight Grabber!
6.
Bah, if only you were nearer!!
As I said happy to post!
7. I got this as a fixer upper and now it plays really well and sounds great albeit with some cosmetic issues. The bass is a Japan made Roadstar dating from the early 80s it has a fancy birdseye laminate top with binding and a birdseye laminate headstock. The neck is three piece maple with a rosewood fretboard. It has more of a Jazz nut width to it. A lovely fast neck to play. Electrics are passive, very powerful despite the 'soapbar' styling pickups are similar to a P and J set up with blend pot, master tone, volume and switch. Very versatile. One of the tuners is a replacement, other than that it is all original down to the strange strap buttons and rubber sleeved controls. The 'Ibanez' decal has been damaged slightly as pictured. The bass comes without a case, its light weight - under 9lbs I'd say. I would prefer pickup but will post UK. Sorry no trades.
8. That's a beauty!

11. This is a rare item - it's an original Shergold bass neck for either a Marathon or Modulator 6 String bass. I bought it as NOS and it is one of the final 6 string necks produced. This is unfinished but drilled for machine heads. The neck also includes a truss rod cover (there is a serial number stamped under this) and the heel has the name Shergold stamped in ink. Pics to follow.
12. I decided against it as on closer inspection I wondered if it were possibly NOS? No serial number plate is odd and the lack of position markers on the fretboard made me think it may have originally been fretless. A rarity however and £460 is pretty good going for a Modulator.
13. They are not much more than that price new! http://www.woodbrass.com/en/basse-electrique-5-cordes-gibson-eb-13-bass-fireburst-vintage-gloss-p164114-af833-gbp.html?gclid=CKOcmoWwo7sCFTDMtAodizUAgg

16. Its already being watched.....
17. I have one used it as a backup for my Fender 50s MIJ the quality is superb and the necks are spot on, mines for sale on here now as the project I was using it for has finished. All the CV stuff is great value for money, I wish they'd been around when I started playing.
18. Looks like a bitsa to me just looks like a few 'right' basses in the wrong order!
