Active with knobs and GMT p/ups. Sounds great, gets it's first gig this weekend
Thanks for the GAS attack. Lovely bass.
 3.
Hi All, Apologies for not leaving a post earlier - I'm not into this "posting" thing but that no excuse for not recording a really big thank you to the organisers. It's nearly always a thankless task organising events but judging by the posts I think that this time your efforts were well and truly appreciated. Thanks also to everyone who let me play their basses, I enjoyed the opportunity to get my hands on basses I'd only ever read about - thanks again everyone. Final thought - I'm really glad I didn't suffer a large bump on the head and missing bass
If you ever think of moving it on, please give me 1st dibs. Cash in hand, not blows to the head. Well, whatever one works out cheaper.
 4. Josie. I forgot to mention your beautiful GMR single cut. It must be up there with one of the most stunning basses I have every had the pleasure to see. Oh, and next time, I'll share the cost of the cakes. My birthday was on the 9th.
 5. i would just like to add that zootchaser was very lucky to leave without a large bump on his head and a missing bass. I fell in love with his Zoot today.

 8. I have a great time at the NWBB today and I will upload some pictures when I suss out where they have disappeared to on my Macbook Pro. It was great to meet such a lovely bunch of people and their fabulous gear. I came away with some serious GAS. Thanks to Kev, Lurksalot, for organising it and I'm looking forward to the next one.
 9.
Hey guys (and gals)! I can't be there but I'm sure one or more of you will have a camera and perhaps a recorder? Would be good to have a few pics and/or some footage. Bash newbies, feel free to click on my bass blog link in my signature, and you'll see what really happens at a bash.
I'm going to take my camera Bluejay but I don't think I'll do as good a job as you. I'll probably leave the lens cap on.

 22. Just picked up a Fender Precision Bass Special Deluxe from Karl. A total gent and an easy transaction. He even put a set of flats on it for me and included a set of roundwounds in case I didn't like them. What a bloke.
