1.
EDIT: £100? Buy a B2.1U!!!!!
+1 here too .. I'm gradually replacing mine with individual units (each costing almost as much!) and after working out what I need using the Zoom, and because it can't switch between several different channels easily on stage but for the money it's great
 2. Just in case you missed it, I've found my Hurcules GS414B neck grabber stand works for the Stagg on stage (as long as your guitarist doesn't walk into it carrying a cab; Doh!) Anyway, Mark a Bass Direct (poptart) has them for £20 and has offered to ship it free for BC members .. pm him to get the deal.
 3.
now if i ring fender will i get the same service?
I had an exchange with a guy on the design team for the BAM amp head at Peavey when I was sorting a glitch with the octaver. They do support via their forums and the appropriate Peavey people contribute regularly, ask for views for the next version etc... Not bad for a business of such size.
 4.
Found this one : 62 Jazz Big question is - why all the extra holes (are they holes)? Andy
Weird They look like upholstery nails That will clean up nicely though
 5.
What email adress is it from? I'll send them an email accepting and I'll try to sus it out. I love having fun with these guys. I managed to get one of these clowns to promise me first dibs on an "unnatural sex act" with his sister the other week!
Ah sorry BBC .. I'm sure you could have fun with them but it was in my junk mail bucket and I've had a look through the erased file and aparrently my email s/w doesn't keep stuff I erase directly from the Junk folder. It's gone but I am sure other's will get it too.
 6. Sorry Guys Having a bt of trouble sorting out the replacement stuff ..
 7.
Am I a snob..? I dunno. I don't think so, because - theoretically - I'd be happy with any decent no-name Precision clone (barring a few upgrades here and there).
Swap one of your P basses for my SX P bass ? )))
 8. Heads- up That gig scam is back... the email to me says: -------------------------------------- Hi, Glad to inform you that , there would be a Wedding Ceremony of my beloved sister (Michelle), coming up on the 15th of MAY 2008 which would be held in within the state, but the location is yet to announce by the party planner, so we would need a musician/band player e.t.c on that day , we will want to know if you will be available to render us your valuable service for that date, if so , we would need you for the service, People in Attendance would be between 150/200. so we would want you to get back to us with the total cost for the services and your availability .I would be glad to read from you regarding your service to us that day. Thanks. Dr Bill. ----------------------------- This does the rounds in various forms now and then No one has ever worked out what the scam is but don't bother to reply unless you want to find out. People have played the game before but AFAIK no one's taken it far enough to sus out what they are really trying to do but I'd bet my wife's shoe collection that there's no gig or money on offer ...
 9.
I'll buy your 1212 4 ohm (definitely) , if we can agree on price? I assume it's in good order. Please let me know asap if you want to sell. Thanks
Thanks rslaing, Just to let everyone know .. I've had a lot of PM's expressing interest in the 1212L. When the time comes I'll be contacting everyone in order of PM arrival (to be fair). If that fails to find a buyer by that process I'll post a normal for sale listing. It's a great cab. I like it a lot which is why I'd really like to swap for an 8ohm (or two)
 10.
- home by 2.30am - nice one.
Hope you changed the TV channel back and that Mrs Homer and the Homerlings don't read BGM
 11.
if the wierd headstock isn't an issue
Quite
 12.
He gave ma choice of black, chrome or white. Black wouldn't show up well on my bass I don't think, white may look a little in your face, so that only leaves chrome, which seems very visible if you catch it in the light. Either way, I'll be letting everyone know it is a Shuker anyway ;p I shouldn't think it'll get confused with a Squier!
Yeah chrome is cool but have the "case" style lettering instead fo his signature .. S'wat I mean, like on his cases ...
 13.
I'm not a bass snob - but I am definately an Amp snob I'm afraid. My tech Spec specifies that I won't use an Asdown as supplied backline
I'd have to put that on my tech spec, if I had one. No snobbery this time, I just can't hear them in a band situation.
 14. Yeah I'm a snob I've owned a Squier JV P bass which was Ok but I didn't ant to wear a Squier ... It's not a money thing because even though I have a brace of Shukers I also enjoy my very cheap SX P bass and Stagg upright.
 15. Don't use my pinky :brow: but I use my little finger, and the rest, and my thumb on occasion
 16.
No, I emailed them .
Ah ... fascinating
 17.
The Shuker logo is going to be the shiny chrome one as well. Looks pretty sexy on the other basses Jon had in with those on. Ee, can't wait ^_^
Mine is the crome signature one and it's illegible on the front of the headstock so people come up and peer intently. I'd rather have had the non signature block caps "Shuker bass" one on the headstock but he'd done it before i realised. I have the block caps one on the rear of the headstock but I like people to know what it is and to help Jon stay in business and so they realise it's not a Squier ....
 18. So did you just call them and offer to review it? :brow:
 19.
For anyone from Basschat - the £20 does include postage
Cheers Mark
 20.
I'd like to say "I take it!", but i am not sure about the local vulcano's reaction to 2 new basses and 5 new pedals..
"local vulcano"
 21. Goodness .. Wonderful ... Got your gym membership/chiropractor lined up? If you get Jon to do his "LED switch in the battery compartment rim or cavity cover" trick like mine it gives you one less thing to switch on the front knobs ...
 22. Thanks for fixing it Phatmonkey ..
 23.
Si Is that the Hercules stand you got from me??? Very creative indeed - I likee :-) I am hoping to bring a new line of electric EUBs into the UK soon - watch this space Mark
Yep That's the one. The Hurculese GS414B with the neck grab things. It works fine, nice and stable. Just checked your site Mark.. BassDirect's bass stand page Does the £20 include postage?
 24.
Still looking for the ellusive 8ohm 1212L or two
Bumperino
 25.
Wasn't you, was it? If so, I applaud you; if not, join me in crying bitterly. Out of sheer brass neck-ness, I messaged the seller & asked how much it was sold for. I wish I hadn't. The bass, and the Strat copy for sale as well, were sold for fifty quid. For the pair. x 1000000. J.
Nah not me .. Oh well .. add that to the big plie of "bargains I didn't get"
