Does anyone know if Japanese market basses sometimes have nothing on the heel? I'm looking at what appears to be a PB62 Japanese only but there's nothing on the heel or plate ...

I think he was offering unsolicited advice. I have to curb the urge to do that myself as it's often misunderstood .. However I still think that was part of an attempt at asking her out ... So ladies, gentlemen and Jojobass (the OP), how should he have done it to achieve: Option A ) help her with her bass playing Option B ) help him with his social life?
Jamerson was an upright player with lazy right hand- only used one finger- didnt do him any harm.
I know this is OT but I'd have thought doing what he did with just "The Hook" would make that particular part of his right hand far from lazy
You're testing my feeble memory now!! LOL I *think* there was a velcro strip attached to the cloth lining of the base which started to come away from the case once the pedals were attached which, to be fair, is quite a testament to velcro really.
Hiyah .. Is this tall enough to get a big wah pedal in? I've got a Weeping Demon and it's "substantial" to say the least. http://www.imuso.co.uk/ProductDetail.asp?StockCode=EG00288 Also if you have some BOSS sized pedals in the case is there room for a powerblock behind them as well? Thanks
For the first time, ever, i had to ask our drummer to turn up at rehearsals the other night. felt strange.
Yeah I'm a bit deaf these days too
You have nothing to worry about. Nearly all my gigs are without PA support and i still get asked to turn down when using my 1210R and LMII. Good luck. I have my first gig tomorrow with my new 1212L (again, without PA support) and it will be the first time i have played with a drummer using an electronic kit. Should be interesting.
When I switched to the Schro 1212L I took myself out of our (mostly just vocal) PA. I used to need a tiddly bit in to throw it to the back of the room ... Same with the Bergantinos, audible all over with no need to go into the PA. Or drummer uses an electronic kit now and then. It really is weird that all that noise is suddenly not coming from the kit but from the monitors and FoH ... Takes a good set of speakers and a good bit of getting used to. Of course the upside is that you can turn the drummer down
I'd be pretty comfortable putting any single piece of kit (apart from a cab, obviously) on top. Hope that helps.
That helps a lot ... actually a cab on top was one possibility

I think he's asking you out for a date.
It's fold up and velcro. I would have thought it'd be ok to stack stuff on top of it while it's closed, but probably not while its open. Unless you put your rack stuff in upside down, and fold the flaps underneath the rockbag, leaving a flatter surface on top. ??
Hum yeah looking at some details pictures that's what I figured. Shame .. I need something a bit less wobbly
I would be very interested indeed. Since I stopped having lessons, I have a small(ish) list of questions I would like to ask at such a clinic. If we want a good work-shop to hand, how about going across to Sheffield to John Shuker's? I haven't been there so I don't know if that is even a sensible suggestion. [Edit: My bass is in need of a good set-up but I would be just as interested in something which was limited to playing.]
Jon's place is a dust, wood and tool filled workshop rather than a showroom ... and there's only three tea cups
Won't be of much help to me as I'm on the south coast but I think it's an excellent idea and one that could be rolled-out elsewhere too.. Good luck with it!
Very good idea ..
