ME50B question
then move the patches closer together?? i dont think theres many multi effects units out there can do what i think your askin, if you want to seamlessly switch between two patches, i can only think you can do it by having them next to each other, that goes for every multi effect iv tried too, unless of course you find a way with the B2 to step on the +button which will switch to the next bank eg from A1 to B1
My requirements are rather unusual as we play without pre-planned arrangements or set list and so I can't do that logical progression through patches that you can if you know where things are going before you play We have lots of impromptu and spontaneous stuff. I used to be able to do this with the Peavey BAM combo's clever computer.. so it's a bit of a limitation. Currently addressing it with rtoo many stomp boxes, as well as the Zoom ...

ME50B question
buy a single loop pedal for the zoom, that way you can bypass the zoom using the loop switch, change to preset you want, and then hit the loop switch again and voila
Ta Kev I read that bit of the manual and I don't think that will leave the current effect running will it? It will just cuts the Zoom out of the signal chain .. That's half way there

ME50B question

On a ME50B can you preselect the patch you want to go to next? Then switch to it when needed? Say changing from A5 to A9 without having to audibly clunk through A5 > A6 > A7 >A8 >A9 I'm a bit dischuffed with this aspect of the Zoom B2.1u

13. My (musical) partner died about 20 years ago and left me his Ibanez 335 style guitar and combo, Pa systems etc .. I can't really play guitar but I do get it out and have a strum in his memory now and then and the PA was my band's monitor system for many years. The 335 and my number one bass and my baritone sax will go to my wife and boy in the hope that he'll learn to play one or the other, and that she may learn sax to add to her flute playing. My brothers get a bass and sax each in the hope that they will learn to play properly sometime - both dabble. Actually that leaves some quite nice instruments that I'll have to think about ..... Nothings getting toasted with me. Way too many hours of blood sweat and tears in them to waste in a funeral pyre..
14. Do I hear "musical Differences" creeping up here? Some people really love rehearsing and don't like playing in front of a real live audience ...
15. I was amused to hear some of the younger bands describe the Sex Pistols as boring old farts recently when they were doing their pension tour ... It's circular.
16. I reckon 30 mins of bass, drums and vocals would be pretty good, with the right tune choices
17.
That's great, he's got 5 string sets for under £30 inc delivery, that's a good 10 quid cheaper than what I've been paying! Nice one..
Tom will do a deal on multiple sets too .. Worth an email to ask..
18. and now from the double take department: 5 string non reverse Epi Thunderbird
19. Here's the guy I get them from "][email protected] Tom 040-060-075-095 Super Light Gauge 4 string for about £22, delivered. or check out his ebay store for other makes http://stores.ebay.co.uk/MyMusicStuff
20. That's why I switched from Schroeder 1212L to a pair of little bergs too, to get the two cab/little stack solution... The Schroders are fabbo .. snap it up.
21. I use lights with a .125 (Taper wound) on my B string and it's perfect. I also get them from a bloke in the US who can sell them and ship them here for less than the UK string people can sell them for... Last ages but do get hairy bits where I pick them but that's usually around thetime to change them anyway .... BigRedX: That's a really, really pants reason to not try something

Zoom b9.1ut

Good question ... Imuso are offering them on their website but they don't quote stock levels like some other sites ...
23. OldGit

Zoom b9.1ut

Anyone got one yet?
24.
yeah - I have a feeling that the string tension may be affected at zero Kelvin - and the amp won't work - and the speaker cones will be frozen... The cables will perform exceptionally well though :-)
We have Zero Kelvins in our band - does that mean we are not cool?
25.
going a bit off topic - how long does the gas last and how much does it cost to refill it? Wireless soldering is very appealing
It's economical 'cos you only have the iron "on" when you need it so it's not using gas whilst you're arranging things. It also re-lights itself once it's up to heat so that is a one handed operation A butane tin's about £5 and seems to last for ages.
