  1. Personally I think each of the amps are targeting the same market, ie similar in price and power. But I can see how you would think the amps are for beginners and I would probably say you are right!
  2. Hey musicman20, What makes you think that it is a beginners amp in comparison to the other two?
  3. Having no experience with them I think it'd be fair to assume (reading the reviews) that your contenders would be euphonic audio, acoustic and phil jones. Though all these things are very subjective but these seem to be the most 'transparent' heads
  4. I had a gander at those photos and it doesn't look like it is for me, I'm not a massive fan of the 'tube' looking head, I know that is a massively superficial thing to say, but is just not my thing.
  5. Hows does the aggie compare to the walkabout? is it an awful lot louder?
  6. Then in that case I would try and see, if you can get to bass direct to actually check them out all the better, but if you are like myself and have very little in terms of music shop availability youtube and reviews are a great way to gage it. Though just make sure of the returns policy just in case things aren't your thing! Just my two pence.
  7. Hey Ash, I personally haven't had a blast on them myself and I'm sure they would be plenty good enough! Though if it were me I'd be going for the 2x10 for no other reason than personal preference. Though a lot of fellas including myself would ask if you have browsed the for sale section on this very forum as for that sort of money you may be able to get something 'better'. Though you really do have to patient sometimes!
  8. Now that would be very interesting! if it is not much bigger than the walkabout I'd be having one (dependant on sound ovo)
  9. I'd love them to do a non all tube amp, maybe a valve pre but a different power section with a lot of clean headroom and reasonably light. Do you think they would ever do something like that?
  10. I am a gearstalker. I really enjoy hear whats out there and when I go to see bands I'll have a look and listen! Cause it's fun
  11. Hey Dan, before the mods come along they will ask you to put up a price as it is stated in the forum rules. Some other info that may be useful; Condition Where you are based Willing to ship Pictures
  12. Mesa titan would be really really nice!
  13. And there's me thinking I was the only one. It was awful services and I doubt I'll spend my money there based on their service.
  14. Yeah I once won a Taylor 214 for £400 and his girlfriend conveniently dropped it down the stairs breaking the neck.
  15. I played my mates peavey for about all of 30 seconds was so so bad, I just had to put it down.
  16. I think the sound holes make this really stand out to me and really set it apart. Funny how people work
  17. I've heard rumour that the mars volta auditioned a drummer at a live gig, which he didn't know about beforehand. He got the job, so good luck.
  18. Selling it after a week doesn't look too good on its resume! haha. Does it merit spending the extra for the more expensive cab?
  19. Personally I think ritters will be collectables as they are already a piece of art that in many many many years from now will be worth a lot more. Look at acoustic guitars for instance, pre war martins and then super rare 1 offs by renowned makers fetch a lot of money!
  20. I think we should leave Rhonda out of this, she has feelings after all! Only skimmed the first page so I apologise if this joke has been made already!
  21. Will you be using your own backline or will it be provided?
