2. Looking really nice Sean. Feeling the colour as well!
3. Nope, and it's back up for sale if anyone wants it. 90 squids delivered
4. I too have seen those very reviews but in my experience it couldn't be further from that. They're definitely worth a try if you're looking for something all valve, but of course it depends on your taste and what you're after. IME I find it sounds better the louder you turn it up. For me it's perfect!!
5. I used to change mine way too often, but recently i've stopped as I found I prefer the sound when they're well played in. Always used Rotos, never had an issue. DRs are pretty good as well IME with regards to string life.
6. I'd seriously recommend at least looking into a AD200b. They are beastly amps. Right amount of power and a good drive tone. Can be fat and clean or fat and overdriven. I used to own a 400+ and the headroom on it is astonishing, so much so that it never got turned up past like 2 or 3 on the master.. Which do I prefer? The orange. I like the breakup you get and the rich lows, plus the power is more in my ballpark given the shows I play.
7. In Orange AD200b Out markbass
8. I personally love p bass tone. It most certainly without a doubt has it's place in rock/metal. You can't get that tone anywhere else. Nothing wrong with any bass in any musical context really imo. It's the player that makes most of the difference. It's musical expression, not the instrument it's played on ultimately.

15. Thanks for the offer guys and the heads up, but it's the other model i'm after really. I've not long sold one of these versions, in natural. Someone should snap this up as they're great sounding and very solid axes.
16. I've always used Rotos. I do find them a bit rough initially, but after say 30 mins playing they're broken in lovely jubbly. Always had good results with them! Love the sound when they're dead as well!
