1. Stunning mate - got to love the wall of tone with the 810
2. Thumbo has got some rocking grooves on his band's (brux) ep. Well impressed! That warwick growl and orange goodness delivers! It just goes to reinforce the fact that off the beaten path there is always a wealth of good music and within BC there is a lot of variety, all of which is pretty damn good. Basschat album anyone? Compilation styley?
3. Sorry lads been offline a couple of days and unable to post. Yes the barber works fine with the diago, that's what I used. In work at the moment can't measure till after studio tonight (around 11pm) but it's not that big, about the size of a bluebeard enclosure. Pook I've pm'd you mate.

5.
dude the difference between a mark bass combo and a orange ad200 is pretty drastic. Orange amps are quite dark sounding aswell
+1 I used to play markbass, massive difference indeed. Yeah they are on the dark side most definitely.
6. Sweet. Yeah they are good prices (probably too good!) I will say that IME having owned both pie and barber that the barber wins. (I bought and sold 2 cream pies) It's a lovely pedal just not getting the use it deserves.

Barber Silver LTD (really nice overdrive) (£55 posted royal mail special delivery) (unboxed) Zoom UF-01 (awesome gated fuzz) (£55 posted royal mail special delivery) (unboxed) Not in a rush to sell, but they're here if anyone wants them. I will pack them safely prior to delivery. Cheers Tim
8. They're definitely out there mate. There's been a couple through the for sale forum on here recently. Just keep an eye out and get your cash on the ready!!! Beastly amps.
9. Nice one Ciaran, i'll look into that and try one out. Been meaning to up the voltage on my spector for a while and this looks like a good way to try it out.
10. Overpriced!! Get one from back in the day a whole lot cheaper. I love my ripper, great sound.
11. The modded Cs-3 is a great comp for bass duties. I pinched my guitard's monte modded version the other week. It sounds really nice. In my opinion I'd say it's very different from the EBS as the EBS is more transparent and with a lot lot less sustain. Both nice comps, but I prefer the cs-3 for my application. I use it to sustain my clean bass sounds.
12. By the way what are those little orange practice amps like? Thinking of getting one for some bedroom doom
13. Stunning axe mate!!!! Beautiful!
14.
I love my Orange. Fat, thick, warm. I swear you don't have to touch the EQ even. It sounds great when you switch it on
Lovely looking rig. Agreed about the eq. Fatter than a large hippo at an all you can eat diner.
I like that expression Tim! I get total tonal devastation when I run my 70's P-bass with the gain cranked past 3 o'clock. It sounds huge, or TTD to quote Tim.
I really need to try out a old school P through this rig. I imagine it would sound delicious.
Off Topic: Tim, G3 pics up now... http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...mp;#entry405801
Sweet!!!!!! I love the G3s, cracking looking bass mate! Guys I think we need to start the official BC AD200B club!! Bagsy number 1
15. Sweet. It really excels at the gibson & muff thing. Total tonal devastation. Got any more pics of your G3 Umcoo?
16. You won't regret buying an ad200b! *don't quote me on that though hehe* I have the same rig as obbm and thumbo.. Unfortunately I don't have much in the way of a good photo, although obbms and thumbos shots pretty much cover it! Thanks to Ed I was able to get one at a decent price and I haven't looked back since. Lovely tone on them. Awesome amount of depth and girth! Oodles of drive if that's your bag. Sounds great with both my gibson ripper and spector. I usually stick a bluebeard in front of it for jokes. Glad to hear the di thing worked ok Ed! I used mine for some live recordings last night, sounded ace. I'll post some clips when I get a copy of the session.
17.
What have you done?
A bunch of acid by the look of it Only joking it looks sweet
18. I've been thinking of whacking the EMG system into mine as well. I know Josh was looking into it before so perhaps he can chip in. It's not that I don't get on with the tonepump, I use it flat 99% of the time. Some extra control would be handy, in being able to cut as well as boost. Plus you get the extra mid control which would be sweet.
19. When I had a markbass amp I used to run the gain at 3/4 o clock and the master at about 9-10 o clock all eq flat. I think my diming the gain is why it eventually blew up.
20. Gig on the 23rd Dec, taken by our very own Sean! Cheers mate!
21. Looking really nice Sean. Feeling the colour as well!
22. Nope, and it's back up for sale if anyone wants it. 90 squids delivered
23. I too have seen those very reviews but in my experience it couldn't be further from that. They're definitely worth a try if you're looking for something all valve, but of course it depends on your taste and what you're after. IME I find it sounds better the louder you turn it up. For me it's perfect!!
24. I used to change mine way too often, but recently i've stopped as I found I prefer the sound when they're well played in. Always used Rotos, never had an issue. DRs are pretty good as well IME with regards to string life.
