1. I hope there's plenty wiggle room in their "make an offer" or it's going nowhere.
 2. They were popular... .... but I believe the hysteria has died down now and many are getting parted out along with their new upgrades. In fact I've actually seen some just being described as "Fender copies" as the SR name was hindering the chance to make a profit - ie £40 for a body that came off a £60 bass. This one appears to be all original. Wouldn't it be funny if it was more desirable because of this.
 3. So you gonna buy it now Sparky Mark? (btw it is against forum rules to discuss pricing in the FS threads)
 4.
Fullerton JV http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/220844668149 same PUP perhaps.

These are parts I removed from an old looking Fender Jazz Bass. The headstock sticker was long gone, but it sure looked like a Fender.
5. I've got a pair of identical looking ones in a Hondo II.
 6.
Wow. Just logged in for the first time since the site has been changed. Looking really good.
Yeah it looks great...... it just doesn't work very well.
 7. I think I was up 1st. I'm going to pass. Thanks for the pics Gareth.
 8. You should probably be looking at the capacitor if you want a change in sound (although why you need to do this before you've heard the pups is... debatable) the pots make no difference to the tone at all, you just get a long sweep or a short one and even then there's not that much in it. There are plenty threads here about capacitance.
 9. Do you mean underneath or around the edges? If the fit is still snug super glue is fine on the raised areas, otherwise perhaps something like titebond would look ok for an edge gap.
 10. Superglue.
 11.
Looks to be a lefty? That would make a little more sense...
Pretty sure it's a righty... .... as well as a wrongy.
 12.
And a couple preEB's: feb '78 StingRay. apr '80 Sabre.
Wowzers!
 13.
maybe our mate sh*tt*rs will have a bid.
14. Now this is a YOB that I'd definitely like to own... I can't see it somehow though.
 15.
.... I would call thier bluff and cancel the lot.
I think you should consider this option too.
 16.
Fuming! Got up early to listen for courier... Sat in front room waiting at the moment. Basses weren't picked up from S&T due to van problems. I wish I hadnt bothered. Next day I'm available is Weds. I know it's only 5 days but I've had enough.
Dude what did I say about counting your chickens? It's a sure way of setting yourself up for disappointment. Just accept that these things are outwith your control and sh*t happens. Put it to the back of your mind until you get a knock at the door.
 17.
I've only just taken a look at this and really IMHO it's not that bad. Sure, the back of the neck looks really off and the whole 'grime' thing seems quite pointless (I'm sure even Gallagher's strat got a wipe over every now and then), but I've seen far worse relic jobs. It's nowhere near the efforts of those who are at the top of their game, but if he improved the 'wear' on the back of the neck and did away with the grime it'd be a fair effort. It's much better than some of the Fender Custom Shop relics I've seen...
So you're ok with the metallic blue Squier paint showing through beneath the top coat?
 18.
They look exactly like mine as well, though mine don't have the PAF stickers. And those ones haven't had one of the magnets just fall off... <_<
Haha yeah, both of my pups had one magnet each fall off... but they stuck back into the waxy material quite well. Just make sure you put the magnet back exactly the way round that it came out - mine was easy to work out by the marks left by the stickers. One final observation on Blondie (I promise ) - while playing her last night, I realised that she doesn't have side markers. Obviously because it's taken this long to notice I'm not a neck watcher so it doesn't bother me but I think it's worth mentioning as a record for identification.
 19. Don't get me stared on neck plates, Blondie's is a weird 40mm x 65mm*. *26mm x 49mm centre screws
 20.
Have you been in bed or something and missed the 7 page thread on these here? Yay, Fenders or something
21. http://www.youtube.c...1&v=Aoi-YRW_YKA I bet it would sound better with a maple fretboard.
 22.

Whoa this looks crazy on my phone. What is it?
