32" or 34"

Depends what you want to do with it If you want to do blindingly fast runs,I find the short scale is much better,so I would vote 30.5" scale,Yeah I know you said 32" or 34", but both my Bich basses are 30.5" and amazingly fast
  2.
Traben?
You do know who owns Traben right? Hanser Music Group, owners of B.C.Rich,they're probably all made in the same place BTW,a new £200 BC Rich will be pretty crap
  3. Don't do it I cut an Ibanez Jem handle into a Washburn Status once (Used a real Jem DY777 for the template),then decided to refinish it in flourecent Yellow and Black tigerstripe, hiding the pick ups and controls in the black. As mentioned above,it's a pain in the ass to sand back flat, but when finished,it looked stunning........................................... Then I sold it in the shop I worked at,the new owner used it onstage!........Oooops.It shone like the sun under U.V. lights and blinded everyone there

    NAFF!
I wonder where you plug that in...
Here I know the guy that painted that guitar,he might even have carved it,I can't remember What I find NAFF! is oil finished basses, singlecut basses, raked back tuners, clef inlays I guess you guys wouldn't like my favorite bass either
  5. You also now have to specify how much you want for it in your post http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...mp;#entry691868
  6.
Cheers. It is a nice bass just surplus to requirements. NJ is the Japanese series rather than the American.
N.J.Series basses and guitars have not been made in Nagoya Japan (N.J.) since 1986,when the N.J. series production was moved to the Cort factory in Korea JFYI
  7. Obviousley,this one for me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gf9AdVnwA30
  8.
Jimmy Moon for the paint job. Perhaps he could fret that, er (fret) board for you? Get that done first and then when budget allows get the paint done. Guess he will still be on the South Side. Bit out of touch with Scotland having left 3 years ago. Good luck and all the best, Karl.
Jimmy Moon is still in Scotland somewhere,Glasgowish I think??? Spoke to him about 7 or 8 months ago,he had done some paintwork to a 1994 BCR Widow I bought, now being completely redone by Chris Eccleshall
  9. The only downside with a headless bass, is you can't hang them from wall hangers I've had at least 8 Washburn Status basses, and if another comes along no biggie LOL As for Sei,my personal opinion,I would immediatley turn down a headed one in favor of a headless one,I have a thing about having to like a headstock style

  11. I don't know if this will help, but might be worth a shot http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx All the best
  12. I try and look after them, but don't cry to myself if I do manage to ding one Having said that,I bought a brand new Customshop BCR Eagle and was scared to play it and scratch it,sold it,bought a brand new BCR customshop Widow, which fortunately had some minor paint inperfections,so not scared of playing it
  13.
Even if you end up having no hair,NEVER sell that bass
Have you been looking through my window? Top of my head is turtle wax shiney
  14.
IOf I still had all my hair, I would be having this bass
Mine? If so,no you wouldn't NOT for sale, very hard to find, especially in quilted maple
  15. Does it matter what he's wearing? He's definately very talented, and unless you intend to date him,or he's wearing YOUR dress,it shouldn't really matter what he's wearing
  16.
Wow!.... what kind of beast is that?.....
Oops-sorry to threadjack 1985 USA Handmade B.C.Rich Ironbird mate
  17. Where exactly do you live? I need to steal a case for this
  18.
Here are my planks on the sofa... I have neatly cropped the wine stain out of the picture (with the other stains) ped
That's a beautiful picture and Ayrton Senna is just the icing on the cake
  19. It makes a difference to me,some people remove the Script logo and replace it with an "R" logo to make people believe they have a U.S.A. made instrument,to get better money for it when it comes up for sale
  20. Why? And also,what year,there are several "R's"
  21. Nice Job I have my own Phil Lynott tribute bass I actually own the very bass he has in his mitts in the above picture
  22.
Clearly I am talking the dogs doodaas Buy a headless BC Rich then!!!
Hey mate, that was probalby the ONLY one they built, for Dave Ellefson of Megadeth
  23.
Another good reason to buy a headless bass. That simply does not happen with them. Unfortunately BC Rich don't make headless basses.
Erm,not quite true
  24. Didn't sell it within 3 days, and then went off on a Rant I wouldn't buy it from you even if I wanted it
