Thats amazing lorne! I bet your tech is going nuts just thinking about trying to sort it all out though, i really feel for him considering the projects you have brought him in recent years! Seriously, that is just gorgeous, would love to take it off your hands! Whilst i may not have a BCR, my love for an ironbird has not diminished Rob. EDIT: Pm me if your selling any of your current brood
Thanks Bro,but They're all staying My Warlock is at my friend's house having it's neck fixed, the 1994 Widow is with Chris Eccleshall and he's not happy about it,once he's finished, the Ironbird will head his way, which will make him even more unhappy

Sorry, should have been more specific The Truss rod nut is snapped completely off
-
I notice you have used a 4 in line set of vintage Grover Titans on the bass, you do know that you can strip these tuners down and rebuild them in the other direction-I.E you can make a right side tuner into a left hand tuner and vice versa Also,I would use the Grover Titan Washers and screw fitting for the front of the headstock
-
Ok,it's chipped to hell, has a broken truss rod,big frontbow with a slight twist, but when (LONG time),It's fixed,it's gonna be killer, been wanting a USA one of these for just about ever,It only just made it through shipping size restrictions and I need to have a Flight case made for it Yes I have the Trem arm, truss rod cover and there are no strings on it until it gets repaired and resprayed (Probably trans blue) Notice anything missing?
Has nobody said "nail two four strings together" yet?
Now,there's an idea I know who owns this (only one ever made) And I found these for my friend (Only 7 ever made)

I had a 1960's Hagstrom 8 given to me a couple of years ago,I had NO intention of keeping it,but let me tell ya,once I cleaned the bass up,it was a feakin' tone Monster!!!! I have 2 USA Handmade B.C.Rich Bich 8 string basses,a 1979 and a 1985 Supreme,Both are set up as 4 stringers, not 8's,I find the 8 string sound novel for a few days, then quickly becomes boring, and the Price of strings!!!
-
Traben are owned by the company that own B.C.Rich As for Tone,I suggest you find somewhere that stocks them and try both makes out,I'll be honest, there are some B.C.Rich shapes that don't balance too well, the Mockingbird for one,but if you love 'em,you learn to deal with it There are also some B.C.Rich shapes that suck, the Virgo and Virgin for example Best of luck

It wasn't my first bass, but to my shame,I owned a Marlin Sidewinder, fortunately it was around bonfire night, bye bye Marlin
Oooops! I've stated that there are two interested parties and at the risk of upsetting them (I hope they'll understand), I've enough years under my belt to be upfront and say that it doesn't pay to sit back and wait to see if the deal works out with them! If you are interested PM me and if nothing is concluded promptly then I'd need to move on to the next interested person. I hope that sounds fair and doesn't come across as me wanting to elicit responses that will spoil their chances but all to often things come up and genuine people who have all the best intentions can't conclude deals.
Nah Bro,we won't be upsetting them,I HAVE to get the work done,I have 32 tons of earth that need a new home and a wife who's ready to use a carving knife on me if I buy a bass before having these walls built I just wish I could though -

Warwickhunt,I hate you right now,you post this for sale, just after I have some builders round to qoute me on some work-damn you!!!! Awesome bass, and IF I hadn't had the builders around and didn't have the wife breathing down my neck,I would now be owning it,but alas Very best of luck with the sale,it shouldn't take long -
