I'm on the other side of the fence. I don't think the distortion brings anything to the track - especially as the singer has quite a good voice. Personally I'd take it out.

The same fella who I used. He's retired due to arthritis. Simmons Electronic Drums used to be made locally and many of the former employees live in Hatfield. I know a few of them but haven't seen them for years. I'm trying to find them for future projects. I'll update the thread if/ when it happens. Ross, if you're desperate try contacting Pedro at Sims TV in Hatfield Town centre. They're a man down currently so repairs are slow currently.

Italian guitar brand Giemmei Guitars (Giocattoli Musicali Italiani) sold their particular guitar models on order, made by “Melodija” although instruments were sold under “Giemmei” guitar brand name. Does anybody know any more?

Nobody involved in setting up the events makes any money, in fact when we put on the Herts Bashes I, personally, would be around £100 out of pocket after paying for raffle prizes, tea, coffee, etc. All your contributions go to the nominated charity. Attendees get a great day out, a chance to play gear that you won't get to see in any shop, attend interesting seminars and take part in gear tests. My favourite part: meeting up with old friends and putting faces to avatars - a chance to actually speak to those who we only know through the forum. Don't forget it's also possibly the only time in the year when it's OK to be a bass bore.
