    Owen - Feedback

Another transaction between @Owen and myself. This time I was able to supply a Hipshot D-tuner which Owen had posted in the Wanted thread. I had one I wasn't going to use so it was only right that I sent it to a good home. Quick discussion and prompt payment... the parcel is set to go in the post in the morning. Absolute gent...no hesitation in trading with him again.

  4. A lot of bass here for your buck. Bass Bros have an Enfield 4 string available currently for £1700. If I didn't have a SimS powered bass already I'd be giving this serious consideration. GLWTS.
  5. When I started playing again after a 15 year break I found DKMarlowe's videos really helpful.
  6. This weekend....if you're in the Herts area, pop along
  7. The cat's in the cradle - Harry Chapin
  8. You're all missing the essentials... The Ritter Royal Flora Aurum Price: $250,000 Manufacturer: Jens Ritter Year Made: 2006 Body Type: Solid Image source: Jens Ritter Instruments The Ritter Royal Flora Aurum Bass Guitar truly represents the epitome of luxury and craftsmanship, with its attention to even the minutest details making it a veritable work of art making it the most expensive bass guitar ever. One of the standout features is the Floral Pattern Fingerboard Inlay, which is meticulously crafted from massive 24-carat gold. The bridge, tuner buttons, and knobs are individually hand-cast in massive gold, exuding a sense of grandeur that complements the bass guitar’s overall aesthetic. Two flawless brilliant-cut diamonds, each weighing 3.3 carats, adorn the knobs, elevating this instrument to the realm of true luxury. The incorporation of tiny green brilliant-cut diamonds as knob position marks is a thoughtful and intricate touch, adding both functionality and beauty to the design. Did You Know? To underscore its uniqueness, the nut is crafted from at least 10,000-year-old mammoth ivory, connecting the instrument to an ancient past and making it a true collector’s item.
  9. I can see clearly now - Johnny Cash
  10. Lets hope that he gets better soon. As I said above - I found his slap bass lessons really helpful and the course was free.
  11. Have a hunt around. I reckon for that sort of money you could find a nice Squier or similar...and you have the fun of the hunt.
  12. I didn't know the players you cited so I went to YouTube:
  13. I would recommend Tapewounds - but then again I so love the sound and texture of tapewounds that I would recommend them for any bass.
  14. (It was)Just my imagination - The Temptations
  15. A former colleague was looking for one for ages. He was expecting to pay around £1500...
  16. I couldn't watch the whole video - I was drooling too much. Lots of hate from this - hate for you, Gary, for posting this video, hate for Spector for building such beautiful basses when I haven't got the money and a sack of self loathing for not having the cash. I need somebody here to buy one of the PJ'S and lend it to me ad infinitum.
  17. World on fire - Julie Driscoll / Ab Fab theme.
  18. If paradise was half as nice - Amen Corner
  19. If you're going for LEDs why not a sound to light? (Can't find the video I was looking for)
