    The price of Yamaha basses are hilarious. How they can sell for as little as they do is beyond belief. £550 for a bass as good as this?? Ridiculous!! Somebody's bound to come along and steal it shortly.

    That's the reason for my aversion to "real" Fenders. Market leaders who stood still (went backwards??) in the 80s and let everyone else catch up/ overtake them.

    Sorry to hear about your health issues - seems all to common as you get older unfortunately. Must say I like the furniture - I have the same bottle green Chesterfield but with different basses on.
