  1. It's not his chair (Etsy) and it isn't for sale anyway.
  2. You may even recognise the seller.. New message from: jackalbob (630) Hello Mick. Thanks for your message. This headless Bass was built by Rob and is a one off. He did make some other electric basses for Dave Pegg (Fairport Convention) . They had necks with traditional head stocks and machine heads. This is the only "steinberger" type he made. Absolutely yes, I confirm Rob gave me all the details/ info prior to me listing it for him. He's not internet/computer capable, so he asked me if I would offer these instruments for sale on his behalf. I have known him as a friend for almost 50 years, have been his photographer for the last 12 years (all the photo's of his instruments currently listed on ebay were taken by myself.) He lives across the road and I see him 3 times a week. I hope this answers your query, any other info, please ask. Regards. Richard.
  3. Summer breeze - The Isley Brothers

  6. I messaged him Hello Bob Can you give me a bit more info on this please. Is it a unique, one off owned and built by Rob Armstrong? Can you confirm that he gave you the information directly? JOOI How do you know Rob? Look forward to hearing from you. Mick I'll keep you all apprised.

  10. Maggie May - Rod Stewart
  11. If I was going to pay CS money then I really would insist on my custom choices. This would mean Jazz profile thru neck 5er (they've done this before), with brass nut, ebony fretboard, 24 fret with active Lusithand preamp and SimS pickups. Alternatively either a PJ or HP pickup configuration. Jazz body in green - probably British Racing green - with chambered body to reduce weight. Headless would be lovely but I expect that this would be one step too far for Fender. Aged brass hardware. Not very Fenderish really - I could probably get something along these lines from Overwater/ ACG/ Shuker for significantly less, buy everybody who was involved a bottle of Scotch each and still be in front.
  12. English Rose - The Jam/ Paul Weller
  13. I bought some parts from Guitar Anatomy, thru ebay IIRC. Reasonably priced, not bad quality. They sent me the card below. Thought it might be a useful resource.
  14. I'd have one of those... There you go..."the Basschat series".
  15. Up up and away - The 5th Dimension (Hovis anybody??)
  16. I always felt he needed more recognition but that might be a bit far.
  17. Something that didn't say "Fender " on the headstock. Lots of luthiers will build you something comparable for less.
  18. Can I venture any covers of Ms Mitchell's "Big Yellow Taxi".
  19. Was it Madonna who did a truly terrible version of American Pie?
  20. I was going to say The Far Corporation but yours tops that.
  21. Is that £100 more than the one I've yet to find? I have my overheads you know...
