I'm just trying to see what my options are for stacking another cab under my NEO 2 x 10 (the one with inset handles & front ported ) I'm not sure I want another 2 x10 as I want a bit more depth & would like to know the dimension & weights of the 1 x12 & 1 x15 cabs .
GAK are advertising cabs that are not on Ashdowns web site ? I'm getting confused over what does what , eg Neo cabs with rubber handles , Neo 12" cab with no measurements ? ABM cabs with Neo speaker but no weight published or sizes ? Whats going on ?
It's enabled us to get a stadium type sound in a pub , with an acoustic kit we would of had to mic every drum & use gated reverbs etc . Plus we could turn the whole band up & down via a couple of sliders if required .
Check out "Scary Clown College" on you tube my Singer / drummer uses one , I think it sounds great . Its a Roland td10 I think , The only thing I don't like about it is that I would have expected the wires to be built into the frame & it takes longer to set up than it should .
If Ashdown , MB , have badges you can just move , for me the steel grill would look even worse & would make it look like you're supposed to stack the cabs only one way . I bet they sound fantastic but it would niggle me , but that's just me .
The handles look great , but i would say they are upside down but that's hardly a problem (it depends on which way you grab it ), the bass port reminds me of the one Peavey did on their Delta combo .
looking at some of the demonstrations that manufacturers are putting out , Why does the person doing the playing feel that they have to let everyone know how fast or clever they are at playing . I just want to hear the quality of various settings . The companies could also put more effort into getting a decent sound rather than just releasing some clip that someone has done on a phone . rant over .
I have an Ashdown ABM 400RH , when using it with the 2 x10 Ashdown neo cab it's fine , But when I use it with my Barefaced 12T it has an unbelevable low boom , But I just EQ it out at 180HZ leaving a great sound .
I also use a wireless so I can sound check , At the moment I'm using a Brefaced super 12T as it produces a lot more depth than the Ashdown , having said that I would like to try using a second 2 x10 or a 1 x15 added to the 2 x10 Neo to see if it's better than the Barefaced plus I think they look cooler

No thoughts on the TC Electronic BG250?
[/quote] I saw a friend gig one the other night The 1 x15" combo I was very impressed It keptb up with a loud drum kit & the sounds were impresive .
They could have been ill ? I do think NWR had a terrible sound mind you I've always thought he had a terrible sound live , sorry to say that He's a hero of mine , just being honest .
I use to have two x Markbass 4x6 NY cabs & the sound was too thin for me & that's what put me off of getting the Ashdown version . I have a 2x10 Ashdown neo but it has no where near as much depth & full sound as my barefaced super12T . IMOA.
I have a Little Rocker as a back up . I used it with various MB cabs 2 4x6 cabs I found the best sound was using a 121H & a 121NY cab together infact I'm not sure my Barefeaced super 12T sounds any better . I got the barefaced as part of my effort to get all my stuff made in the UK .

Bring a good quality mic to feed your cab sound to the PA.
Turn it down.
