1.
epic win - this was the last painted one! I have a stache myself, looking forward to pairing the two of them together tonight my best monday in a while (not difficult!)
I was so tempted when I saw the final offers on his website. Looks great!
 2. Morgan Nicholls yeah, bit of a legend really. Looked like he was playing a non-reverse Thunderbird to me.
 3. This post cannot be displayed because it is in a forum which requires at least 1 post to view.
 4. Bet the air freight on your pedalboard would be a nightmare Shep!
 5. Loving me my Analogman Mini Chorus w/blend and deep mod.
 6.
Also for my extreme OCD-ness, I didn't like seeing the cables on the old board.
That's one of the reasons, aside from the weight and unwieldiness of my Tourman, why I swapped to pedaltrain boards. How do you rate the new Whammy anyway?
 7.
The BB is a great wee unit and it really allows me to adjust the drive to the DB924 pre amp so volumes and tones are as even as possible. Its not very complex but gives a really solid tone. It's perfect for the gigs I'm playing at the minute.
I love my BB, definitely the best overdrive unit I've ever tried hands down. Sorry to be cheeky, but if you ever fancy shifting the pickle pie please gimme a buzz because I'd be very interested!!
Yes, the downsizing of my board worked as planned!
I might just be me but my OCD would be going mental with your new Mini set up. I'm sure it does save you weight (and I do prefer the Pedaltrain boards over the Diago ones) but your older set up seems a bit neater to me... Anyway, sick choice of pedals!
 8.
A couple of questions.. is that a Pedaltrain Jr? also, what's the power supply?? and can you let us know which inter-connects you're using??? Cheers.
Yesiree that's a PT-Jnr, it's a really nice sized board. I can fit pretty much enough for anything on their and it's still light enough to carry about on public transport with the bag. I'm using Venom patch cables - they're absolutely brilliant. Never had one fail. I seem to find them cheap on ebay every now and then, couldn't recommend them any more. As for the power supply I use a Diago Powerstation, it's brilliant and really is worth the extra money over one of the cheaper OneSpot adapters.
what is that weird blue pedal Eskimo?
I think you mean the SS/BS Team Awesome Fuzz Machine? Great fuzz with bags of lowend .
In other, more personal news, I have finally decided to start on a pedalboard with most likely a Polytune, a Phat Phuk B, a BB Bass Preamp, an OC-2, and most likely an Oxide, on a Diago board with a Powerstation and hooked up with George L's.
Sounds like a good start mate! You may find a Diago alternative a little cheaper in the states though - might I suggest you start scouring for pedals on the TB classifieds.
You'll save a ton by buying the bits 2nd hand. Stuff like Powerstations crop up all the time for cheap.
SHUUUSH DON'T LET THE SECRET OUT! There's a cheap powerstation on here at the moment actually... might have already gone though, wouldn't surprise me at the price it was listed
Also look out for the Johnnyshredfreak PSUs second hand, No longer available as I presume Diago stopped him but they were clearly out of the same factory and about a third of the price.
It wasn't Diago, it was changing European regulations that put a stop to it. Apparently they're tweaking the design to fall in compliance with the rules and then their going to start production again... well that's what I heard a few months ago anyway.
 9. DFA1979 were absolutely brutal. Devastated when they broke up that I had never seen them live.
 10. Cheers. It's a very versatile pedal isn't it? Having a good 2 band eq has been brilliant.
 11. Slightly more boring but functional iteration of my pedalboard:
 12. From the pictures, the enclosure in the foreground seems to say "Threshold" so I'll guess that's a compressor. And the orange one in the background seems to have a screen, so it'l probably be a tuner.
 13. THIS THREAD IS BETTER WITH PICS: http://a6.sphotos.ak...597173368_n.jpg
 14.
They actually finally listened!
There's only so long companies can go on being ignorant I guess? I hope Mike Matthews et al at EHX pay a little closer attention to their audience - they always seem to have good ideas but their execution is a little off.
 15. Looks like the MiBass would fit in the front pocket of a decent gigbag; you could then easily carry your small cab. Just food for thought.
 16.
Why no Death From Above 1979?!?
My exact thought when I was reading this thread!
 17. Looking verrrry nice indeed.
 18. The BB is more akin to the Fulltone Bassdrive - but obviously with a much better EQ. Great pedal.
 19.
I agree although i have had a few basses that would read "Only gigged once!"
And then they were shifted?
 20.
IMO "never gigged" = not as good as the bass(es) I am gigging.
I just couldn't imagine buying a bass and then not playing it live.
 21. If you boost your Bass, Mids and Treble then it's just like raising your overall signal and won't address the mid cut. If you're not wanting to shift your Big Muff you could always buy a cheap EQ pedal and set it with a sizeable mid hump, thus every time you engage the fuzz with it you'll be able to punch through. That's what the bassist from ASIWYFA does, seems to work a treat!
 22. The cases are pretty tiny, I'm not sure there would be room for one. May be better to hold fire and try and get a PS-5/6 cheap on ebay?
 23. Oh god I stumbled across this yesterday - it'd be so much fun to play through.
