1. Geofio is selling one... he might know? http://basschat.co.uk/topic/259109-access-virus-ti2-61-key-synthesizer-new-in-box-now-l1350/
2.
Where are you based? Cheers Alex
Sig says Witney in Oxfordshire. (I'm only telling you that to make sure I don't buy it )
3. Shame he hasn't posted a pic of the electrics cover, because that's the only way I know of to tell whether it's MIJ or not.
4.
I did some work on one of these last week and thought it was a good quality piece of kit. Very loud and good range of tones available. I would suggest it would be good for metal too. Good value for what will probably be an easy fix. Glwts
Thank you kindly
5. Times are hard Good luck with it.
6. Hm. Maybe I should defret it. I prefer skinny necks, except for fretless, for some silly reason. Bump anyway...
7.
Hagstrom now sold but can't edit title of thread!
You should be able to edit it if you use the Use Full Editor button?
8.
I'm guessing it's not much good for metal?
Given the way it's broken, I don't think it was much good for wood either.
9. Morphine; REM; Talking Heads; Screaming Blue Messiahs; 3 Mustaphas 3 (though they are only "inactive", so I guess it's not impossible); Television; Miles Davis; etc. etc.. There are dozens, really.
10.
Great to see Magazine's 'Real Life' in your list - still one of my all-time favourite albums...
I was playing it for my son a few weeks back. He's catching on
11. Sounds like fun
12. I'm with you on M John Harrison. A great writer. For the albums... Richard and Linda Thompson, 'I Want To See The Bright Lights Tonight'. Wire, 'Chairs Missing'. Magazine, 'Real Life'. Television, 'Marquee Moon'. Palace Music, 'Arise Therefore'. The Mutton Birds, 'Envy Of Angels'. Talking Heads, 'Stop Making Sense'. 3 Mustaphas 3, 'Heart Of Uncle'. Luxury item... trombone. I can't play the thing worth a damn, and there'd be nobody there to laugh.
13.
Bought hopefully not be any difficult issues as will be a gift for a left handed friend for xmas, mind you I bought him a lh acoustic and it's great but pre amp is kaput, so been looking for another cheap lh guitar.
Good luck, hope it's a player.
14. I could go and have a look, I suppose. I'm not affording new basses though.
15. Four necks, all for right-handed 4-string basses. All are sold without hardware (the Vintage will have its TR cover). All are 42mm nut. They are: Neck A: no-name unshaped paddle-type headstock; it came from Harrier Guitars, a couple of years ago. This is unused, but has picked up a chip on the end of the fingerboard (since tidied up). Heel is 61mm wide, so quite narrow. 20 frets. £30 posted. Neck B: no-name Thunderbird-style. Tuners and string tree not included unless we come to an agreement. Came off an eBay bitsa (with a J-type yellow body). Heel is 63mm wide. 21 frets. £30 plus P+P. Neck C: KCC. Decent enough given the source. Some wear. Heel is 65mm wide, quite wide indeed. 21 frets. £20 posted. Neck D: Vintage (JHS). Black. TRC cover included; tuners not included unless we come to an agreement. Heel is 63.5mm wide. 24 frets. £30 posted. Pics are here: http://s1295.photobu...s?sort=3&page=1 Apologies for my rubbishy photography skills. I've tried to keep the pics in groups, bookended by headstock pics.
16. I doubt it; distortion pedals are intended to add distortion, not remove it. Your best bet is to avoid pushing the amp beyond its comfort zone.

Greetings!

Welcome. You're not the only Peavey fan here, for sure
19. It looks pretty battered but most of that looks cosmetic. I can't tell what the marks on the fingerboard might be - possibly tape to learn positions? I think the bow might need re-hairing It's got to be worth a punt at £50, surely. At least if you know what you're doing.
20. That might be someone who wants a very specific position for their thumb, so they've put the thumbrest in exactly the right place.
21. I preferred the pre-1952 ones.
22. That looks great. Really clean and functional, without being soulless. Nice
