  1. Best to amend the thread title and preface it with a big “SOLD” so that it gets locked.
  2. A Jazz would work just fine on the neck pickup. In fact, my former 75 reissue got even better results than my Precision, though I’m not sure if that was to do with the strings (Rotosound steel rounds), the single coil pickup or the ash (as opposed to alder) body.
  3. I was having a discussion in another thread with someone who said he might want to buy a cheap precision bass, so I’ve tagged him in your sale thread so he sees it and you have a potential buyer.
  4. Fair enough. They are the same octave circuit so I don’t know if it’d make a difference.
  5. Try backing off the volume a lot. Also, I found that bumping the mids (or backing off the bass and treble) helped. (The best solution is just to use a passive front pickup Bass such as a jazz or precision.) Does your bass have the ability to be run in passive mode?
  6. Also, if it’s a rear pickup (especially a humbucker) it may also not fare well. My Sterling made my octavers sound dreadful.
  7. Is it an active bass? Analogue octaves seem to work best with passive basses.
  8. Definitely read the TB threadon this and ask Angelo about anything which is unclear. He’s been very helpful and quick to respond.
  9. I’ve hooked up Glou Glou with Zach Rizer so am hoping there’ll be a good bass demo soon.
  10. It’s probably also worth checking out general subtractive synthesis tutorials so you’re familiar with what all the components of the editor actually are and do.
  11. Do look at the Future Impact too though. Similar price but more feature-rich.
  12. Angelo, the pedal’s creator is active on the thread, has been answering our questions and posting samples of particular settings requested by users.
  13. Some really good sounds coming out of this. See page three: https://www.talkbass.com/threads/meris-enzo-synth-pedal.1362367/page-3
  14. I needed a 5V pedal for my synth (the EV-5 is 3V) so this is now surplus to requirements. It has a fair few scuffs (see photos) but is functional and has served me well for over ten years (though it’s only had pretty light use from me). Comes with a box, though for a different brand of pedal. I can post same day if payment is made by 8.30am.
  15. Another Pralines video, this time from Olivier’s channel. I haven’t watched as I’m not on WiFi.
  16. Thanks. I’m definitely going to check some out as they sound more to my taste than the Chromes I’m currently using.
  17. Pre-orders are open: https://glou-glou.org/pralines/
