1. And I shall be the first...heh! Bought a gigbag from Ian. Good communication, arranged a quick meetup and the deal was easily done. Nice guy to deal with and I'll have no problems doing business with him again. Thanks for the bag, and best of luck with the studies!

Bought a Hercules stand from Mark. Extremely prompt and exactly as described. He even contacted me to check up if all was OK with the stand, and only then did I realise it was delivered to me 2 days before and I did not even know, ha! Thanks Mark, pleasure to deal with...!!!
3. Whoa...I've never seen one of these up for sale before. I would buy it just for the cool (or weird, depending on your outlook) factor...but I don't have the money, I can't play 6 strings, I would get lost trying to figure out what to do with 3 octaves, and my Michael Manring impersonation has much left to be desired But its an awesome looking thing.
it is probably the coolest bass I have every owned
This coming from the guy with like a million Foderas...then its got to be special!
4. I should have done this over a year ago, but I get a second opportunity to do it now...better late than never, right Bought some books from Mike last year and was very happy. I've managed to avoid looking at his book list since then but could not resist anymore. So I went back again (twice in one week!) to get some more. Very prompt and reliable, and he even offered advice! Great stuff.
5. I was supposed to reply to say that I was interested in this also. Pics would indeed be good. If Monckyman or anyone else has not taken it, let me know.
6. Any lesson about 'sexy' notes has got to be worth it....awesome as always.

Not that I can buy it, cause I can't, but I'm quite enjoying seeing and admiring all these Foderas on the forum right now. Any chance you can get any pictures up at all as I'd love to see it...the link you gave in your original post is not a public URL.
8.
Go for it guys, this would be an AWESOME birthday present.
LOL! It would, thats for sure. Had I not picked up something recently equally as special this would have been it...(that and the fact the bass fund is now zero!). Best of luck man!
9.
Would it be wrong to treat myself on my birthday? Seriously tempting at that price!
Not if I treat myself first :-) ...but seeming as I already did weeks ago somebody else will have fun with this for sure
10.
Why do i do this?! Pm'd
One can never have too many streamers ;-) That really is a good price...best of luck whoever is looking to pick this up...in other words, stop looking and pick it up!
11. Interesting...thanks for posting this!
12. I bought a streamer special edition from Chris. I can't express how happy I am! There were some logistics to getting the deal done but with Chris's willingness to help and his patience I am now the proud owner of that bass. A massive massive MASSIVE thank you to Chris. An _awesome_ bass and an AWESOME BC'er! I heartily recommend him!
13. If I remember correctly they are just pdf files. Open them with a pdf reader of some sort or change the extension to .pdf and open it. HTH.
14. Yeah, such is my luck with these gigbags...sigh. Oh well, just in case it does not work out, let me know. Thanks.
15. Hi, Just checking if this is still for sale and if you got my PM?
16. I got Warwick straplocks on my Jazzman (I had to buy the end pins independently for them as they did not come with the bass and at first seemed hard to fit properly). I have schaller on my other warwick which I was used to and was a bit skeptical myself about the Warwick ones as I was just unaccustomed (I'm sure I saw that same video you did...and the ball bearing thing did not sit right with me) and was gonna change to schallers. But I've not had any problem and I don't feel insecure/worried using them anymore and I'm keeping them on the bass. The centre pin extended keeps the balls protruded so that it secures the strap end to the bass part. If I was still worried, trust me I would have changed them a long time ago. Anyways, bump for an awesome bass
17. Cool. Except for the angled tuners, one like mine. Although I use my other Warwick more, I adore the cut, feel, weight of that old 87. Think I'll pull it out tonight... :-) Bump on me...
18.
Better to play on a 5 string, octave pedals always sound synthetic (see what I did there). Video is more of a plug for IMO an over produced mediocre tune.
Uhhhhh......ok. It may be a bit of a plug, but I thought the song was fun and of course I wouldn't expect everyone to like it. But it was still good to post this topic as there will be those who may not know about using an octaver and don't have a 5 string. Its good info even though some may consider it basic and take it for granted its obvious to a newbie. Again, thanks for sharing Scott.
19.
That Contego is probably the best deal I've ever seen on Basschat...someone buy it...now.
I'm trying to !....but knowing my luck......

SOLD

If I had spare cash I would pick this up. I got a 4 string Jazzman late last year and am very pleased and would not mind a 5 to it, and that seems like a really good deal to me. Best of luck...
21.
Damn, I wish my theory were that good. Did you just transcribe it on the tube with your ear and a pencil??
You know, I was actually wondering the same thing. I've seen guys say they are no where near their bass and will transcribe stuff. I 'needs' to be able to do that...what do you figure, next 5 (errr...50) years? Thanks Hestan, I always like your posts...thanks for sharing.
22. Bought Al's Boss TU3. Great working pedal, and came nicely packed and boxed. Thank's Al!
