  1. love it
  2. thanks very much! got some scales now - weighed it a few times so i'll use the highest reading (of 4 or 5) to make sure there are no nasty surprises - came in between 13 and 13.2lbs hope this helps
  3. wee bump not been able to get an exact weight yet, sorry!
  4. Thanks guys I'll see if I can get some scales and get a definite answer
  5. ooft to be honest pal, i have nae idea. it's not what i would call "light" anyway - just compared it to my Schecter Hellraiser 5 and it's a wee bit heavier than that...but i can't find how much that weighs online will keep looking edit - a review states the Schecter weighs 13lbs, so i would estimate the LAG at around 14/15lbs tops
  6. cheers thought i'd just add as well, the Mrs and me are driving down to Wiltshire on or around 29th Oct so could possibly arrange a meetup
  7. Good day ladies & gents really want to keep a hold of this but i'm really looking to fund something else just now and this gets the least playing time (purely because it's strung E-C and i'm too lazy to change it) Hand made in France in 1984 before the company was whisked off to Korea for production - active EMG jazz pickups, lovely maple top and 16mm string spacing - it really is a wonderful bass in good condition with the odd wee knock which is to be expected from a bass from '84. Also the hardware is gold but this has all but worn off the bridge and knobs, the rest still looks nice and gold looking for £300 + courier (but would MUCH, MUCH, MUCH prefer either collection or i could possibly deliver) any questions, please feel free to give me a shout - hope Dave doesn't mind me using his pics, i'm happy to take more if requested
  8. it's pure ugly (blatant lie but hope it makes you feel better)
  9. at least it's getting kept on the first page
  10. watching this closely - hopefully will be available in the next week or so...but i have a feeling it won't
  11. i would buy it but there's no mention of it being made in the USA in the USA
  12. i like the bit when it first says "this has been in the loft since purchased" but it's "no use to me now" has he replaced the leg on the spare bed and no longer needs this holding it up?
  13. love these basses - someone's in for a treat
  14. i've only read up to Dundee's "sexy street" (i've always preferred the Abroath Road though) so may have missed it, but would it make sense that if i were to get one of these, it would reduce the noise going through the floor to the flat below me? currently using a rolled up bit of carpet but i'm always wary of getting shouted at in broken English again!
  15. nice wee bit of thinking there
  16. these are quality basses, always kinda regretted trading mine
  17. acchhh wish i noticed this earlier
  18. i do, PM replied sir
  19. "I bought a Fodera Monarch from him recently and he posted it to me before I'd even paid a penny!" wow, that's brilliant stuff
  20. thanks very much for the input - i have thought about selling, although the cash would probably get eaten up and not see another bass (which would be the preference) but then again there's a baby on the way, so may well prove useful and just to confirm, it does indeed sound great
