      Oh dear, this doesn`t bode well, sounds like a mate of mine who put together a mini-studio at his home. Wife saw a receipt for £1800 and said hadn`t he overspent a bit, he very nearly came clean and said that was just for two speakers but caught himself in time and admitted that he`d gone slightly over budget!

      On Graham Nortons radio show last week he and his co-host were talking about tattoos and how now at the Freak Show Circus they have The Un-Tattooed Man, given how trendy tatts are. Well it`s the nearest I`m ever going to look like a premiership footballer so I`m all for `em.

      I waited until relatively "mature" to get into tattoos, got my first one at 41. And will be getting my 24th tattoo on Monday.

      It`s Royal Mail that levy these fees, The Post Office have nothing to do with it.

    After over 30 years using heavy gauge strings (110-50, and more recently 120-50 balanced tension), I got a set of 100-40 today to put on my SB BnG. The bass feels even nicer to play now.

    What, ANOTHER royal baby? Two kids not enough for them? We should be encouraging proper family planning, not shagging all over the shop and popping kids out like bloody rabbits! Setting a very poor example in my view.

      Rather ironically if it`s a boy they can`t call him George, to commemorate having been born on St Georges Day, as they already have another son called George. Having George I, George II in the household would be too confusing, especially when/if George I becomes King.

    Another kebab fail. The situation is now at crisis point and threatening the very existence of the band.

    Despite not having our inoculations and and having no pet passport for our guitarist we ventured to the

    disputed border town of Earby in either Lancashire or Yorkshire, no one seems to know.

    We got a fifty quid bonus and free beer and had a good night but it was sullied by the towns total lack of kebabery. 

    Another dash to a 24 hour Maccies saved us from a fate worse than a fate worse than death but this is now two

    fails on the bounce and begs the question "what's the point of being in a band ? "
