1. I've got three pedals for sale. First is the MXR Bass Blow Torch. Here's what MXR say. "By focusing the overdrive in the midrange frequencies, the Bass Blow Torch lets you retain low end thunder and high-end sizzle while distorted mids blaze a path through even the densest mix. An active 3-band EQ with 3-position mid shift lets you zero in on an incendiary tone, while the Blend knob lets you balance your distortion with direct signal to taste. And the Bass Blow Torch burns as clean as it does hot, with 18 volt performance for increased dynamic headroom, clarity and low noise even at lethal volume. True hardwire bypass circuitry means that when you switch the distortion out, it's really gone." This pedal is also supplied with an adaptor which will allow the pedal to run off a 9V power supply and is also supplied in the original box. £85 + £5 Postage (or collect from Cardiff) The next pedal I have for sale is a Boss PS-2. It is a pitch shifter & delay pedal. The pitch shifter allows an octave up, octave below and a manual setting. More information can be found here http://www.bossarea....=boxes/ps-2.xml This pedal is made in Japan. This pedal isn't supplied in its original box. £70 + £5 Postage (or collect from Cardiff) Next up is an Electro Harmonix BassBalls pedal which has had the internal trim pot modification. This allows for the internal trim pots to be accessed externally. The mod allows for the hi and low end sweet filters to be adjusted externally which adds so much more versatility to the pedal. Also supplied with a convertor which allows the pedal to be used with a boss style power supply £40 + £5 postage (or collect from Cardiff) Dan
2.
Not exactly 'tone' but adeadenemyalwayssmellsgood by Future Of The Left has an incredible sound! In fact, that whole album sounds great. As far as pure bass and amp tone I love pretty much everything on No Push Collide by Serafin.
Kelson's bass tone is just mad!! Have you checked out his band 'Truckers of Husk'? Green big muff...all parts precision and an Ashdown ABM...same set up as he had in FOTL. Also wait until you hear the tones on their new album....Julia sounds huge!!
3. Up for sale is my MXR blowtorch. I bough this on here back in September. Due to lack of use, this pedal has to go. This is a very versatile fuzz pedal and sounds amazing. Also included in the sale (what I think) is a 9v power convertor. I am looking for £90 shipped or collection from Cardiff. No trades. Cheers, Dan.
4.
No - it's not really a problem, and I'm planning on changing the bridge at some point so may not even use that screw-hole Thanks again for the deal - did you find that MusicMan you were after?
Yeah I got it...and sold it this morning. Really fancy a gibson bass of some sort. PReferably a grabber
5. And a bump. Had some great offers, but not what I have in mind. Something passive, something a bit different.... try me
6. Daaaam Greg, that looks fantastic!! did you manage to get the sheered screw out?
7. Ahhhh my old bass! What a fantastic bass that was
8. Up for sale is my 2006 2EQ Music Man Stingray. The bass is in 9/10 condition wise with only a few playing marks (which I've photographed). There's not really much to explain about the bass. I bought the bass on a whim having never owned a stingray before. But unfortunately, the bass is not for me (keep going back to passive basses as I feel they work best for me). I'm looking for £700 firm + shipping for the bass or trades for something passive (Gibson, Fender (preferably a 51RI in 2 tone sunburst), something a bit weird(try me!!). Unfortunately, a hardcase is not included (didn't come with the original sale) but it will be shipped in a protection racket semi hard case. This bass was previously owned by bass chatter Cocco. Collection from Cardiff or delivery to a reasonable distance from Cardiff.
9. Haha, Col what were you thinking?!?!?!
10. Greg bought my Satellite neck through precision. Great guy, was great to finally meet him. I'm sure we'll trade again one day. Dan
11. A mate of mine had the cheaper 424x and it was a great bass! Felt great, sounded quite bright though. I have a lot of love yamaha stuff, great stuff even at the lower end of their basses.
12. I hate watching the tracking on the day of delivery ...almost had a nervous breakdown when then tracking said it had been delivered but it had never showed up. Two days later and my parcel shows up without any warning. Brilliant! Hope this doesn't happen with your new bass
13. Has anyone seen these yet? http://www.dolphinmusic.co.uk/news/news-story/news_id/4903/?utm_source=news&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=rss
14. Sorry guys for the slow reply's.....my house kinda imploded on it self!!! Mental week! This bass is now sold, thanks for all of the interest. Dan
