1. Thank you! Yeah it's a heavy bass. You definitely know you're wearing it!
2. I hope not! I originally bought it off here a few years ago
3. Up for sale is my 80's (ish...someone decided to remove the serial number, see pictures) Peavey T 40 in a lovely burst finish. It's a later model with the contoured body and blade pickups. It's cosmetically great for an almost 40 year old bass. All toggle switches are in tact and function as they should. In classic T40 form, it's a heavy old bass. The bad....At some point in its lifetime, someone decided to remove the serial number (see photos) and there is a replacement screw on the E string tuner. I'm looking at £500, collection only (I'm more than happy to meet local to South Wales or please DM if there's any other delivery/collection options you'd like to discuss). Looking to trade/part ex for a Mustang bass Thanks Dan
4. Up for sale is my much loved 2007 American Standard Precision in black. I've owned this bass for the best part of 4 years. The bass is in pretty good condition. Has a couple of dinks (none have broken the finish). Also one one of the string ferrules is missing. Included is a nice leather Fender strap with schaller strap locks and the original hard shell fender case. The action is very low and is an absolute dream to play. I'm not interested in any trades as I'm not playing as half as much as I used to. Pick up from Cardiff or willing to ship at buyers expense. Thanks Dan
5. Not sure if anyone has seen these yet..... http://www.squierguitars.com/basses/dimension-bass/
6. I've recently just come off tour with them and I had the pleasure of having a go through his set up. Anything I played on it sounded super cool!!
7. Hya mate, it doesn't I'm afraid.
Hi there. Does the sunburst one come with the original hard case by any chance? Cheers
8. The black one is now on its way to Scotland. I'm going to massively regret selling these but they deserve to be played rather than be good looking living room ornaments
9. Thanks lads. I don't really want to sell them but I'm not really playing much now and I can't justify owning both...They really need to be played
10. Up for sale are my two Peavey T-40 basses. *THIS IS NOW SOLD*The first one is a black toaster pickup model. It's in great condition for an old bass with only a few dings on the body.*THIS IS NOW SOLD* The second one is the later model with the blade pickups and a more contoured body. At some point in its life, someone has removed the serial number from this bass. I'm assuming it was a while ago as it's yellowed nicely with age. Also one of the tuning peg screws has been replaced. I'm looking at £400 each + shipping costs (or collection from Cardiff and surrounding areas) I'm open to trade offers and price negotiation. Feel free to shoot over any questions or any extra photos. Dan
11. I bought a stack knob jazz wiring harness off John...what can I say? His harness is a work of art...I couldn't be happier. Great messaging John too. Lovely guy and very highly recommended. Dan
12. I picked this little beauty up a few weeks back (Fender Blues Junior)...15 watt, all valve with a Jensen speaker. Perfect for the house, though it does need to be quite loud for the valves to break up nicely. [sharedmedia=core:attachments:151049]
13. Here's a recent video of my band playing at the Leadmill in Sheffield while we did a few dates with The Joy Formidable. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Duk41UNnfMc
14. Back to the top...Had some interesting trade offers but nothing that's really taken my fancy
15. I've toured a good few times as a front of house engineer around europe and the UK.....don't over do on the drinking. The only time I would advise on getting rat arsed is the night before a day off (as long as there is no early bus call). As far as leaving a van parked over night with gear....reverse the van up to a wall (or big bin...or anything that will block off entrance to the back door of the van). Fruit can make you feel great..avoid junk food. Shower when ever you can...even if it's twice in the same day.Turning up late can make things extremely stressful. Don't take any arguments to heart...you're stuck in a confined space with the same people over a long period of time so things occasionally can get a bit tense. Take a pair of headpgones and shut off for a while...works great.
