4.
Really? Then why do people always talk about how they prefer the HazLab in Spectors? It seems that they were quite common for a period.
Because Spectors were heavily used and endorsed through their pre-Kramer and Kramer periods (1976 - early 1990's) and this is when many of them had the HazLab preamps...
 5. Awww.... Johnny.... This bass is a BEAUTY! Sorry you have to let it go.... but someone could get a 'bass for life' (to use Nick's phrase) here....
 6.
Which preamp is in the bass? HazLab or Spector TonePump?
You would never get a HazLab in any Spector from about the last 20 years...
 7. Got me a 'Spector' endorsement.... I guess my belief in their product and nigh on 20 years of playing Spectors almost exclusively (plus my music CV of sessions, recordings, tours etc) convinced them I was worthy of their support....
 8. Anyway.......returning to topic.... I'd be looking for offers over £2200..... and only THEN might I consider selling....
 9.
Can you email me a pic Gaz? Gloss finish? Mike
Completely 'natural'..... satin finish I'll try & get a pic to you....
 10.
Actually it wasn't the NS2 specifically, it was more a general enquiry. Mike
I might have a natural 'Euro LX' for you Mike....?
 11.
He hasn't shown you the wigs yet.
I'm sure they have nothing on my 'Gene Simmons/Bozo the Clown' wig with topknot!
 12.
Yeah, I know. Its that Jackson Kip Winger. Mike's always had a penchat for lycra and big 80's hair. I know. I've seen the wigs at his place.
It'd probably suit him...! Nah, he wants my pre-Kramer Spector NS2...... not a chance!!
 13. I'd go for a see-thru pickguard.....
 14.
Nothing else for sale then Gaz.................. :brow: Mike
Sorry mate, I know what you're after and it isn't going anywhere....
 15. Oh OK.... you got me.... It's another, different, WAL....!!
 16.
They sound fantastic and as long as your running 4 ohms its plenty loud enough £300 is a hoofing bargain
It certainly is!!
 17. I have the possibility of obtaining a bass I've always wanted.... and it's VERY expensive.... SO..... this is just a feeler.... If I wanted to sell my 1983 Wal Mk1 what SERIOUS offers would anyone here make? PM me please if you are interested....I really don't want to sell but may do for a suitably high offer..... It is Mahogany with Wenge facings and Maple neck. All electronics are original & fully working..... Here's some pics.... it's the one on the left in both photos....
 18. Check out a new Spector Re-Bop or a used Spector Euro.... Versatile, growl, punch, sustain and sexy modern looks....
 19. Have another free bump for a superb cab!
 20. Have a free BUMP for a GREAT sounding head!!
 21.
Make way for Cetera!
I'm here.... I'm here!!! I thought I heard someone calling.... Best value for money must go to the Spector EuroLX range. The build quality is up there with the US models, hardware is heavy duty, gold plated etc and active pickups are EMG. The Tonepump preamp takes some taming but if you know what you're doing it's a sinch! The tone is to die for.... plenty of mid punch with a solid fundamental and sparkling highs. They're capable of anything and they look sexy as hell! Good luck in your quest!

 24. The market is slow at the moment.... everyone's trying to make ends meet.... Have a free bump for a great bass though!
 25. Biggest.... to 14,000 people at the Ariake Coliseum in Tokyo.... Smallest.... with a 6 piece band in a 'gangster' pub in Tolworth on a corner stage no bigger than a large dining table.... and with the punters packed in right up in our faces. Was a wonderful gig though!!
