1. Hi, On behalf of our drummer who wants to clear his shed out... One Cort G200 Strat ... It's it very good nick from what I can see... Say £75? He'll include a warwick gigbag and postage would be about a tenner I would think..
 2. Hi, On behalf of our drummer who wants to clear his shed out... One Chase Jazz style bass... It's in reasonable nick from what I can see... Say £40? He'll include a Tribal "semi" hard case for £20 and postage would be about a tenner I would think..
 3. +1... Consider how much they get shaken around when you're playing a low B through them :-)
 4. Obviously hewn from a single piece of Rosewood... I've emailed him to confirm that this is the case but have not heard back yet :-) I did say I was very interested and wanted the model number and serial number as well :-)
 5. If it sounds better than a Fodera why do you want a Fodera?
 6. Maybe worth asking someone who lives/works close to the venue to help out... Someone with ears on the desk is always useful...
 7. I'll open it up later and take a look..... Cheers Mark
 8. Hi, This keeps loosening itself and creating hum on the input side.. Simplest thing would be to replace it with the same component from Ashdown (a fiver) but is there a better 1/4" solution that would fit? Cheers Mark
 9. Nice easy swap.. great bloke.... Cheers Mark
 10. And a Monday Bump for a bandmate.. I suspect Terry is open to sensible offers for this...
Friday Bump for a bandmate...
11. I did the Rolf Harris double take as well :-) Welcome anyway.. I don't suppose you'd consider changing your name and playing a diggerydoo just ot make me happy :-)
Welcome to the forum I too did a doubletake on that username
12. Swap arranged for this Sunday for my "Enhanced" MAG 300/15.. Thank you Basschat...
About 75 lbs, it's a 2x12 plus horn... 4 ohms... Has the aluminium cone drivers...
13. About 75 lbs, it's a 2x12 plus horn... 4 ohms... Has the aluminium cone drivers...
What are the specs on the cab? (weight, dimensions, power handling) are they 10 or 12s?
14. I think he's right to complain and we should offer him his money back...... Mods, clearly you're not spending enough time/money with ranking searches and buying adwords on his behalf.... Hang on, have I got the wrong end of the stick here? Sorry, I forgot this is free (donation supported) site for Bass enthusiasts to share info rather than a commercial marketplace... Maybe he should spend his money on Evilbay - but that costs money to list and sell though.... I bet Caps Lock does not work there either... More seriously I would have assumed he was a troll from the first post. Hoever his record of pretty much only posting things to sell, rather than making any form of positive contribution, suggests he really does not understand how forums work... IMHO of course... I've found Basschat an excellent place - probably the best UK focused musical forum there is in fact... Cheers Mark
According to your profile, Geofio, you have been a member for two and a half years. In all that time you have posted 21 times, all about selling items. Not exactly an active, contributing and valued member of BassChat are you? So stop your whingeing and price your bass right and it might sell. PS, Tim
15. Mr Rocco Prestia uses a TC Staccato 51.. ... Nuff said.. :-)
 16. Thus the "they might say" ..... :-) But I was struggling to think of a more stable and inteference free power supply than a battery :-)
There are few more stable and interference-free power sources than a local battery, so I'd be surprised if they use this as justification - although we are into snake-oil territory Personally, I can't see anything wrong with remote power, if it's implemented correctly. As previously pointed out, mics have been remotely powered forever and it would cost peanuts for amp makers to implement. I suspect it's all down to the 'standard' jack socket used on most guitars. Just one of those things.
17. Bandmates.. Can't live with them, not allowed to kill them either :-))

 19. I find that really helps encourage them to bid
Tried putting an abusive message directed at your watchers in the item description.
20. I think the argument (common in hifi/AV circles) is that although the assembly is much the same, the QA process and component (from batch) selection are likely to be done with a little more focus in Europe/USA..
 21. I'm trying to work out why they say it would improve the sound... I suspect they might say it provides a more stable power source than a bettery.. I remain to be convinced :-)
