1. lot of bass for the money... 34" scale though?
2. I own the PA for my gigging band... The drummer owns the monitors.. Works well.. If I left they'd have to spend some money :-) As long as it all fits in the car I don't mind - I expect them to pay for repairs/replacement if something breaks or gets damaged and I get quite pissy if they don't help with the load in and out at the venue and I've even trained them to plug stuff in and run cables.. I also expect those who need them to provide their own mics, mic stands and xlr cables into the desk - whereas I provide the desk and everything "behind" it (including lights)
3. Is not the pickup in the wrong place for a 68?
4.
Update: I bailed. The prospect of learning/achieving the standard for Spirit of Radio, Knights of Sydonia, Bohemian Rhapsody and Carry On My Wayward son sucked the life out of me before I picked a bass up. Thanks again for all the positive comments.
I have visions of something like this :-) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ocCYI7aJ9aw flat as a flat thing :-)
5. Something like this ? :-) http://nordstrandpickups.com/products/the-bigman/
6. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tokai-PB-80-YS-MOD-Sunburst-Hard-Puncher-Precision-Bass-Free-Shipping-Japan/142104804476 same sort as yours (headstock truss adjustment, headstock I think is the same) They say 80's in the advert for what it's worth..
7. Not much on the interweb except that flashing lights indicate a problem and that you should take it to a tech. However you know that... :-) I presume you've checked the obvious.. mute? half plugged in fx loop?
8.
As in the bass could be earlier than 1995? This Tokai dating is bit of a headache.
Yes.. They're suggesting 1985 or later... Worth reading through the thread..
9. https://www.talkbass.com/threads/help-needed-how-to-date-my-tokai-hard-puncher.814419/ seems to suggest the headstock and decals changed much earlier..
10. Oscar Peterson, Montreux 1975
11. +1 for the gator - I use the smaller 1212 bag for my RG450/750 - fits like a glove, and so much better than the cheap and nasty TC bag..
12. I suspect would be helpful if you told people where you were based..
13. does a DB750/751 fit with or without the rack ears? - ie how wide is the case? :-)

15.
I don't know I haven't tried - and feel a bit hesitant to try with all the shocks.
16.
That's surely a joke video..? It's all over the shop..!
I thought it was a bit ropey as well.... Reading down I saw that it was from guitar hero but that some people thought it was genuine.. I've removed the original post to avoid confusion :-)

18.
Hello, No, but just tell me how I can I measure that! Thanks! Cheers Alex
Measure from the centre of the B string to the centre of the G String at both bridge and nut. And divide both figures by 5
19.
35 kg isn't that much people. Two of these would weigh less than an Ampeg 8x10.
Let alone the Warwick Terminator cab I had for a little while :-)
20. I'n a confirmed dingwallite... ABZ5 with a John East preamp and a Z3.... And I love them both :-)

22. They're probably pretty close in terms of value so it's really down to whether you want a change?
23.
Okay, you agreed a day but you haven't mentioned whether you agreed on a price. What you say suggests otherwise.
Sort of implied don't you think? The "agreed a day to collect it" ..? :-)
