    This is a great price. I've got the blk mij and wouldn't sell it for the world! Found my "for my life" bass !!! But to include a case with this is amazing value!!!! Good luck, amazed this is still about!

    Kenny - Cant comment on the squire version as never tried one. The tuning and intonation are spot on squire, and indeed I am in Leicester! Cybertect - would happily meet halfway if that helps?!

    Hi Folks, Okay-tough one to price so any opinions welcome, would rather they were kept to pm's though ! 😊 So....I bought/commissioned this a few yrs ago from a chap in Manchester via eBay. He used to sell a lot of copy j's and p's and this was the second one I had off him. Basically it is what it is....a copy of a fender fretless a la Jaco! As far as I recall the squire version hadnt been released then so it was my way of getting something's half decent and at a decent price. I can't really give you any info about woods etc as in truth I don't really know! The neck is maple/rosewood and has been defretted and filled...very well....has a Matt finish, std slim jazz profile and plays really well. Open gear elephant -no brand- tuners. The body is 3 TS as per the photos. The routing around the neck pup together with the scratchplate screw holes are where I assumed the original was before it was taken off as opposed the the squire versions that have routing around the neck pup that was never meant to be covered by a scratchplate lol! The pups it came with were weak so I put a pair of Duncan designed pups in off a VMJ about 12 months ago. It's strung now with flats and tbh sounds really good. Well balanced, everything works! Selling as a) I simply don't use it, and I have to realise some cash! In terms of price, I really am unsure. I paid (I think) around £180, then the flats and the pups. I think that £140 is reasonable but I guess any interest, or lack of!, will show that! The price is excluding postage and tbh I'd rather collection so any prospective buyer can try it out. That said I'm happy to post at cost if required. I live 2 mins from jct21 of the m1, near Leicester. Any questions please ask!     Hi folks, Not yet a FS/FT add....but will be! Does anyone remember the guy on eBay years back from Manchester...think he was called Dave? He used to sell mostly Harley Benton stuff together with a few home build p's and j's...... I bought a few "custom builds" off him over the years , the last one being a Jaco copy about 5 years ago. I can post photos etc....but basically looks like the squire version. Has fender decal on. The whole thing is really well put together. It's been defretted and filled, the routing around the neck pup isn't the best but.....hey ho. I put a pair of Duncan designed pups in it off a VMJ stuck some flats on it and it sounds lovely, balances well, does what it should. Problem is that it's been sat for the last 6 months doing nowt and as there are other items for the "armoury" that I'd like, I'm thinking of shifting it...... This is where I need your opinions please folks....how do I establish a fair price for it??? What would you guys think it should be at? Any and all opinions much appreciated!! .....unless they are about current political relationship between North Korea and bwangtangbang....(a little island, approx 350ft across, located off the coast of Wolverhampton 😆) Cheers all Matt

    I guess it's only ever worth what the market decides. If it goes for anything up to £100 then you could end up with what appears to be a perfectly serviceable bass.....good as a starter or as a project? Shame about the serial number though........
